I don't see any difference between the inserts. The two small holes in the gen and rep inserts are in the same position, so they are interchangeable.
However, when turning in the 4-prongs screws, the holes in the case and the holes in the Insert must overlap. Otherwise, the screws may break in the middle.
Right right~ thanks for sharing!! Now I will be on the look out for a gen strap

Looks like ZF is using the V1 vaucher clone! Exciting times for sure

Don't think they are.

Look below between 6 and 7 o clock.

Then look at this pic from puretime.

Congratulations.

Did you have the option of selecting crown colour?

Would love to the carbon in real life in the sun.

I'm guessing since the ribs aren't brushed they don't "fade to dark grey" at certain angles.

I’m curious do RM055 reps still suffer from the stuttering seconds hand? I think earlier iterations of BBR did but I haven’t heard much about it since, hoping that isn’t an issue with ZF

Balance regulator is also totally different between the shots of the ZF and this random uncased movement
as per my modder it is the same base as the V1 Vaucher clone, just modified for mass production. Similarly what we saw with the BBR V3 movement when it was also mass produced.

I'll wait for others to test out this watch movement but I'm tempted to pick it up.

As others said the NTPT pattern is different to the prototype batch that was seen.

The blue dial is off comparing with gen

It’s not the same as far as I’m aware and from looks.

Here is my QC pics from today:

Congrats on your purchase and enjoy 😁.
For those commenting on the NTPT, look at the gen, it's very dark, different to the RM 35-02, do not compare it to that.

Here's a look at the R055 in real life. Sure a lot of these posts are turned up clarity to accentuate the NTPT but you get the idea of how different it is.

Is not like you will ever see a gen irl 😅
Putting that aside, it's about what we can tolerate in a rep. The factories have achieved a gen ish level NTPT pattern before but seem to have regressed in this aspect which is frustating
