The CF 116500 dial is too flat and cold IRL - although what you say is not incorrect, it’s not a white balance issue, and contrary to what some posts have said, it cannot be fixed by replacing the xtal.
I think they improoved it overtime
Im checking all the qc pics constantly and i think they changed color a bit, its definetly not blueish.. is it same like gen now? This i cant tell
But new and new batch they all the time changing something, i think they improoved the crystal on 116500 also, edge is not supersoft like before and i think clarity is better

This is what I mean when I say it's all about lighting. If your lighting has a little bit brighter/warm tone to it, then the Clean dial is not gray/blue. If the lighting is a little darker/lower light with less warmth to it, such as bright white light, then the "cold" tone comes out completely.

I've seen on wrist, the Clean Panda go through like 6 different hues depending on where I am at. In bright sunlight, totally impossible to tell. But in room lighting/office lighting with white light hue, it's a little more obvious.

Sure, they fix it, they mess it up again, who knows - but you can tell just by looking at the metal tones and mid tones in these images, that the WB on these is too warm. Just look at all the yellow tones in the steel.

I have a gen 116500 panda and a clean 116500 franken. The clean dial is great but lacks the proper white warm hue, and the warm lush of the white gold hour markers.

this clearly shows the difference. Thanks

Two things to note on Gen 116500 white dials :

1- There have been variations on the white color from year to year, some more bright white, some warmer, softer white.

2- Gen white color can change over time exposed in UV rays and get warmer. We see this more on the 116500 and 116520 because they’ve been around longer 😉

Why are we even talking about the 11 series when this thread is about 12? lol

Does anybody know if the complete stem with crown is interchangable with vsf-clean daytonas?

For sure the SL4801 stem not compatible with any 4131 or 4130 clone.

I mean vsf dd4131 with cleans sh4131 bro
Will it be interchangable along with whole stem
The stem will fit, even from 4130 to 4131….all same.

The question is are the VS tubes same size and thread to swap crowns 🤔

Great to know crowns interchange. This can hold us over till SBF-VS sells all these ugly crowns and starts using their VS Sub crowns—I guess they couldn’t be bothered to borrow some VS Triplock crowns from their Subs, even on this 4131 version 🤷

How's the case shape versus CF and BT?

I've read VS had wrong case shape and lugs

It is fixed now?
