Here is a comparison between Clean and VSF. Maybe someone else can do it even better.

I’m too close to my summer vacation to order another rep. But when I get back it will probably be this one. A couple of dots on a crown which will never be looked at is worth the $400 saving on CF imo, especially taking into account the CF crystal and bezel.

In my opinion nothing is wrong here
Only thing i cant pass is the crown on the crown and dots on the crown
Looking good. Movement and bracelet feel high quality in your opinion? How’s the chrono action?

I also have the Panda from clean. For me, the finish of VSF and clean is on the same level. I like the movement of the VSF more. On my clean, the winding crown and the chrono pushers feel a little stiff.

Good feedback, most people who comment don‘t have experience with both so that’s really helpful.

So, from what I've seen so far:

VSF has;
- Better crystal
- Better crown guards
- Better movement
- From what I can see, equally good, if not better, lugs
- Is 400 euro cheaper than Clean/BTF

So, why exactly should anyone opt for either Clean or BTF considering the aforementioned? For engravings in movement you can't see anyway?

You're mixing up versions. There are two variants of the VS. The one with the non clone movement / SL 4802 is 400 euros.

The one with the clone DD4131 is priced more than the BT at around 800 usd/750 euros (TD price). So no price difference essentially.

Regarding your lug analysis, no offense, but you compared images and renderings of different angles... so it doesn't mean anything. The thread here pretty much shows Clean has a perfect case in comparison to gen.

I wasn't.

When I say the VSF has a better movement, I'm specifically referring to the SL4802 movement. This movement comes from a legitimate watchmaker's factory and is assembled and oiled by professional watchmakers. Sure, it's not a clone. Who cares? I care about movement reliability, not about fake engravings in a closed case back.

My VSF Daytona has been shipped, and once I receive it, I'll compare it to a genuine 125600. I didn't compare renders before; I looked at photographs of actual watches. I just didn't know what lugs and crown guards were until I started learning about them after buying my first replica. I've owned genuine watches since my twenties, but I never knew anything technical about them—I just bought them and wore them.
😅😅😅

Everyone has different opinions. Some people value movement some people don't. We all value different things in the replica game, and if your criteria means you prefer the SL 4802 then more power to you.

You put out a definitive statement that the 4801 is better for you. But it's a little bit misleading for people since the nuances are a little deeper.

Some people prefer the clone movement (which, is more than just some "movement engravings"), there is some differences such as a undirectional rotor vs full bearing rotor, power reserve, the ability to swap gen parts in - for some this is what the high end replicas are all about.

The age old debate between clone movement and "reliable" off the shelf movements have existed ever since the first clone movements have come out.

For some the technical details don't matter. That's great. Enjoy the watch and wear it.
