VSF Hulk comparison with Genuine and ZZF

Some pics of the VSF Hulk in natural daylight I caught today in the car.. The green keeps changing as I look at it around the house in every light, vibrant sunbursts and the indices and bezel numbers really make it pop loud. It stunning. It's a shame I dont have a gen LV here to compare greens with, but as as I said before the camera changes the colours anyway. What a rep for under $500. Just shows the huge profit margin R Factory makes (granted they have R&D and marketing to factor in).

The ZZFV2S is away now. On it's way to it's new keeper. I have a Daytona Noob V4 black arriving very soon next. I'm hoping to be as impressed though I don't have a genuine to compare with, but I can tell a quality rep when I inspect one.

Honestly you made me jealous, look miles better than my v2s.
Except the dial which lack of deeper green and wider sunburst, your sample look damn hot and gen like feeling even just with pic congrats !
Can't wait to receive my VSF LN and hesitating to pull the trigger on the Hulk but hell what a rep for the bucks ...

That really does look good! Amazing reps that are being pushed out at the moment.

I think the dial will be the (relative) weak point when we get the side by side with Gen LV.

We had a side by side with a gen a while back, I think it was on the ZZF v2 tread. Problem is that the color difference really doesn’t show up on pictures, you need a gen irl to truly see the difference

I agree. But with there being a few variations on LV dials from Rolex it has a few variations to match with, and getting them all in a room together to side by side.. no chance.

To my understanding there are 3 different variations of hulk dials, but they only vary in font and text placing, not in how the dial shows sunburst effect, or what shade of green.

I could be wrong and I would love to see some information if there are in fact different color versions

A far as I'm aware, there has been slight variation over the 10year production run, not just font but the dial shade of green'ness, depth and sunburst too.. very slight mind. I'll see if I can find the thread on TRF.

That is the first time I’ve heard that. Normally TRF isn't the best place for information :)

there have been a handful of articles on dial text variations, but I’ve never seen one on color. Could be interesting

That's as far as I got in 2 mins, if you dig deeper, you'll find a thread discussing very subtle differences in green dial activity over the course of it's lifetime. Add to that a life of UV rays in the sun or the opposite if it has been kept in a safe in darkness?

It's not so much the dial colour to me, but those crescent shaped flashes of green that the rep dials have. I never see that (to the same extent) on Gen dials. That's why a video next to the Gen LV would be great, like modernclassic's video above where both watches are held at the same angle and gently rotated, at that same angle, through different types of light. I bet the Gen won't have 'the evil crescents' (as I'm going to call them). These:
