VSF Hulk comparison with Genuine and ZZF

I have seen two shades of hulk dial, one is 2016 and before which could be mk1 and mk2 (short f)and another green shade is around 2017 and after could be mk3(long f).

Does the 9oclock marker look misaligned on the dial? Have already GL and is on the way to me but this is bugging me lol could be parallex error
I would say yes, but it could easily be photo angle, guess you just have to cross your fingers

It's not so much the dial colour to me, but those crescent shaped flashes of green that the rep dials have. I never see that (to the same extent) on Gen dials. That's why a video next to the Gen LV would be great, like modernclassic's video above where both watches are held at the same angle and gently rotated, at that same angle, through different types of light. I bet the Gen won't have 'the evil crescents' (as I'm going to call them). These:
This would be the best way to describe the sunburst. I would add on to say that the transition between the lighter and darker greens is more dramatic/harsh. Whereas on the gen, it is smoother and more gentle.

The gen dial is indeed noticeably different; I’ll do my own comparison hands-on shortly. Judging by the available photos/videos, I would call the VSF dial “radioactive green”...why not? Appropriate color for one Hulk ))
no matter how much we discuss it, I doubt C factories will be able or willing to rep things like these 1:1 (Rolex used gold dust for its Hulk dials!). At least, it gives us all something to aspire to in the longterm. I’m sure it wont matter a lot or influence my enjoyment of wearing the VSF. Hats off to them for giving us their best try possible...which isnt something you can say most often.

So guys yesterday I received my Hulk ZZF V3. I was curious to see it. Was told by people I should sell my Gen and just get the rep. I was lucky enough to get a gen back in 2017 before the Rolex market went crazy. So here are my pictures.
I have not seen the VSF in person. If someone here is willing to lend me one to do comparison, I would be happy to do it. I live near London, UK.
The gen is on the right in all pictures.
I have not done a detailed comparison comparing every aspect of the watch. I have a view, it's a rep it's not going to be 100% perfect.
In summary : the dial on the rep is not deep as my gen but you can get away with it. The watch feels good as the gen, very happy with the bracelet. Text seems ok to me. And the date wheel is reasonable as well.

Leaning towards the vsf compared to the zzf, but Where does the ARF hulk v4 comes in ? The ARF cost more than the VSF while using a 2836 movement.

i hear ya
today, tag heuer costs 2-3 more than a comparative longines...while almost always being exactly that much less of a watch than the good old value champion.
Kudos to vsf for investing the time and funds to properly rep 3135 movement...to realistic levels one could expect of course (no parachrome or glucydur components).
i appreciate that kind of an effort and that’s why i’m giving credit where credit is due.
back in the day, i was excited about JF making a decent 16610 with a yuki inside. But, they have gotten extremely lazy in the meantime. Just look at how quickly the guys from VS are improving little things here and there. Meanwhile, arf cant be bothered to fix their friggin datewheels for the last couple years or so. Come on arf, seriously?

i love your pics! Well done, thanks for doing them side by side. You can see the gen has that little extra refinement but the V3 is much better than the V2S I compared with I think.

ARF build a good watch. But their v4 sub got panned. It’ll have a good bracelet, but VSF bracelet is better. The ARF has its own small thread (small as nobody really thought much of it).

Looks great, congrats. I think I even prefer the crystal on the rep! I've always had low standards, just look at my wife.
