VSF Hulk comparison with Genuine and ZZF

I have a ZZF V2s with the exact same problem, in these circumstances they become very 'rep'
If you upgrade from a v2s, you will be very, very pleased, it's like going from a rep to a gen, that's how much of a difference there is, no joke.

It looks like the dials from the reps can't 'handle' to much light...
In low light conditions everything looks normal and quite good but when hitting them with direct sunlight or bright lights they 'flip' with reflections all over the place.
I have a ZZF V2s with the exact same problem, in these circumstances they become very 'rep'
I'd agree to an extent. The dial is very very good in lowlight but in sunlight is has 'sunrays' going off in multiple directions. Compared to the sunburst dial I had on my genuine 116613LB (blue tt sub), the sunray reflections would be like a bow tie, on this rep, the sunrays are like two half moons.
I guess the difference is the thickness and/or the flatness of the actual dial itself. If it was pure flat you'd get single a bow tie reflection, bend it a little you get half moons. I think the genuine dial is thicker and flatter/truer, I hope this makes sense. That, and Rolex uses precious metals and other process to do the magic with the light.
To summarise though, the VSF dial is more vibrant than the zzfv2s, it has more green, but with golds and yellows, the zzf had green more aqua and turquoise (miniscule amounts im talking about) and it was a more washed out green. I prefer the VSF.
There is a weight difference of 2grams between the VSF and the gen and 5grams between the gen and the v2s. I guess some of that is in the dial and the thicker crystal and the heavier bracelet/clasp.
Okay OP. You pushed me to order the VSF since I have to see for myself how it stacks up against my ZZF V2S. I’m already blown away by that ZZF ootb quality so am looking forward to being even more blown away by the VSF.

Not always true most of the time when new versions come out they have another flaw, maybe a flaw you can’t live with.
My recommendation is when you see a rep you like buy it cause it could be discontinued or a new version comes out that’s worse than the one before.
Example JF 16610 amazing rep they stoped making it now the arf 16610 is garbage no way of getting that rep ever again expect on m2m sec

Maybe, but they'll probably start on 12XXXX series models now..and usually when new versions of the same watch comes out they fix some flaws but create other flaws in the process. This current run of 11series Subs we are seeing from so many factories now may not last forever, get in now I say.

My condolences mate. Have you see those datewheel lol? ARF were ahead of the competition but they fucked up and now no one wants their subs.

I had a JF16610, the date font and the lugs were too thick and the crown guards too thin and short, crown not right either, the E06 bracelet/clasp was very poor (cheap feel, sharp edges, too lightweight), mine even snapped an SEL link and had to go for repair. I see ARF are making more or less the exact same watch, are those factories related? They even using the E06 clasp, case and date font..
Sorry back on topic.. VSF Hulk, I'm still over the moon, it feels just like my genuine Sub, they are both sitting on my desk smiling at me.. I am as equally proud of them both, they are both wonderful. The VSF really feels and looks genuine to me. I set the times yesterday to the second and they are still both bang on exact to the second'ish (LV was worn all day, LN resting).
Very pleased. I have not compared with the others top brands other than zzfv2s and an ARF bracelet (supposed best but it's not as good as the VSF bracelet or clasp or glidelock or genunine like feel and finish, by a mile) so I cannot comment but I can say they cannot be any better than this, this is just like my real watch! How can it get any better than that ffs? The LN version must be 1:1 NWBIG for sure. (first R in rehaut aside which is almost invisible on the wrist and the early batch with thick date font). The LV must be NWBIG too depending on what some others who have them compare them to the real green dial. Otherwise, as reps go, this cannot be any better. and for the price!

The jf 16610 is an amazing rep the case has been used for many Franken even my 16613 Franken has a jf 16610 case...
When talking at the vsf LV I think you might be jumping the gun we know the insert is good cause it’s cf and they have been producing for a while but the biggiest issue with all hulk reps at the dial color and variation, your comparing to LN no way you can tell how accurate the dial color is without having a gen hulk side by side. It’s a bit pre mature

I'm more trying to compare the quality of the watch appearance and feel. No other rep feels like a real Rolex. My VSF does. It also looks like the real one next to it too in every way including the lugs crystal and crown guards and date font, SEL fitment, bezel recess, crown, case shape. etc etc (all aside dial and bezel colour). I'd suggest the LN version of the VSF is NWBIG because I don't see where it falls short at all.
This doesn't bother me at all, but this tread is comparing VSF and gen ins't? So we could show the honest opinion that other members might want it right?
Ps. I'm not very OCD and I do see gen sub on my wrist almost everyday, then I just point out the thing that I think it's not right.
