VSF Hulk comparison with Genuine and ZZF

The gen is on the right in all pictures.
I have not done a detailed comparison comparing every aspect of the watch. I have a view, it's a rep it's not going to be 100% perfect.

This is the attitude I like.

No ones calling out this or the vsf, even if they handle it. It’s actually very difficult for majority of people (even regular members here) to call out a watch this good irl without the gen next to it, let alone without the large HD pics of discrepancies detailed here.

With all this talk of VFS being great, I've got my TD to send me a VFS so that I can compare Gen/ZZF V3/VFS all together. Should be getting the watch on Tuesday.

I've just ordered the VSF. Been around here almost 10 years now. Honestly in all this time I've never seen a submariner that looks this good and I've probably had over 25+ sub revisions over the years. I still remember when the Noob v7 was the best one. LOL. Looks like shit compared to this VSF.

May as well switch to a different model then - there isn't a better rep dial at the moment.

So the R on the rehaut is fixed on the green LV version but I haven’t seen the LN black version wirh the correctly aligned first R. Has anyone seen that corrected in the latest batch?

My v3 has a less shap sunburst then the picture above, but it does goes to show, you need hands on to make a proper assessment.

The VSF definitely has the evil crescents in direct light. If that's a no go for you, I'd cancel.

You do. I think any rep of the LV is a balance of compromises - much more so than the LN. The most up to date I saw was the ZZF V2 - the colour of the insert was not good, the dial, also not good. This seems like an improvement, and they are a nice watch. No risk of that sunburst under UK winter skies though.

Where i live the sun is always out But yes, it's going to be hard for any maker do nail that sunburst from the gen.

So got the VSF Hulk today. Overall im impressed. A few thinks to note though. My bracelet squeaks a bit. Ill try an ultra sonic cleaning and lubricating tomorrow. And another thing. The crown is a bit pointy. Doesnt feel nice on the fingers when winding.

Rehault text spacing alignment seems off, hard to tell from the photo quality. “Laser show” dial sunburst. Cyclops has a pronounced halo effect, so perhaps gen crystal. DW seems misaligned.
