sukwonee looking at the shape of bracelet and end links, that is definitely V2 correct bracelet. As to why It doesnt fit I wouldnt know. Never seen anything like that on this forum. Perhaps VSF placed the lugholes differently with the rubber strap only watch, but I highly doubt that.

I thought about that as well. But yea. It's doesn't make sense for them to do that.
What are your thoughts on the width of the middle links?

The reason I am even more confused about all this is that even the V1 bracelet should fit V2 VSF. I guess there is always possibility that the bracelet is not a VSF product at all, as another member suggested.

Yea surr I can take pictures of the holes in the AM.

Wrt the bracelet not being vsf, it's possible. Check out this post below comparing the vsf and omf.

The omf has the correct endlinks but the width of the middle link is thinner than the vsf.

Man.... I have been reading and looking at the comparison post for last 30 minutes. And I am even more confused lol.

I did confirm though that the watch I have is definitely VSF v2. Here is a Pic that I just took.

I didn't realize that OMF rep was actually pretty close in details (other than color differences, etc). But I am pretty confident that the watch I have at least is VSF v2. Lmk if you see something funny on it.

Edit: yeah this is definitely VSF. OMF has different (wrong) pearl shape and CG is actually more accurate on OMF.

I am not going to expose the person who sold it to me but I have contacted him to see if he has any input. Either way, I am not going to pass the blame even if this turns out to be OMF bracelet.

But will keep you posted.

I am 99% certain that is the OMF bracelet. You can see the polished bits in the SEL is flat like the rest of the bracelet where VSF is rounded. Those bits ara also wider than the bits on the VSF. Either way, that is 100% not the VSF bracelet

Yeah I think from the photos provided in the reddit link from John_Mary and your explanation, it looks to be OMF bracelet. This is... So... Bizarre... I will revert back if the seller of the watch gets back to my PM. Once John_Mary sends this back to me, I will try fitting this bracelet on my watch. Very strange situation.

k4jun the V1 bracelet was just the bracelet from the previous model Seamaster 300m. The SEL of thos are different to the pics you show there. A few posts back I posted a comparison between the two. And as sukwonee is saying, even the V1 should fit, as it did before.

The previous SMP (2012) was repped by mk, om and bp but vsf has never repped this model. The bracelet on that watch (1515/816) has male SEL followed by male links with wide segments.
SMP 2018 gen bracelet has female SEL followed by the female links with narrow segments.
Vsf v2 is pretty much correct like gen, vsf v1 was a fantasy - it borrowed a look of 1515/816 (wide segments) but had female SEL followed by the female links.
Afair, somewhere at the beginning of this thread someone has tried to swap vsf v1 with v2 and it did not fit becasue of the springbare holes.

I'm pretty convinced at this point that the bracelet is OMF based on the endlinks and the look of the mid links.
