imranbecks the thin “lines” are rounded and not flat like the rest of the bacelet. You might hate me for pointing it out as after i noticed it, i cant unsee it. The gen’s are flat like the rest of the bracelet’s. In most pictures you cant see. For some it might not be an issue, but I can live with my bezel insert being slightly misalligned inside the bezel, but those lines are killing me. For that reason I have mine on a nato now

Correct plus the polished bracelet sections are a bit too thick and boxy.

After all the reading , I accepted this (my QCs ain’t so exhaustive plus I’m really busy right now) According to bracelet is V2 right? Or I made a huge mistake?

Cheers

What about this bezel? Is it misaligned with the dial markers for sure or probably just a click turn to get aligned? I really don’t know if this bezel works in a 60 or 120 clicks…

That's fine and that's a KS QC, it's just 1 click off. KS qc's are perfect, honestly don't worry, :)

I didn’t know it was 120 clicks. Good to know :)
Thank you very much!

Wow really? I never noticed that. I have trouble spotting the current VSF rep SMP's. If someone showed me his rep now and said it's a gen, I would probably believe him. Even now you mention this, I still don't see it.. Lol

Is one of the above a gen?

Looks like the same watch. Just showing the flat polished part on the bracelet and the rounded polished section on the end link.

I think the gen has flatter polished sections on the end link than the rep (these sections are raised/curved/like a road with camber) although on the gen they are still slightly raised from the brushed sections but are shaped flat

Anyway it’s good to have a discreet tell on a rep .....or of course you can stick it on the rubber or a gen nato and it’s perfect!

Hi.. Can I replace the 20mm bracelet of Seamaster 300m diver with the 20mm rubber strap of Aqua Terra? Will it fit? The Aqua Terra rubber strap is comfortable and beautiful to my eyes.

imranbecks hehe sorry for making you aware of it. Yes on the wrist its not noticeable, only in pictures. So for that reason I advised the other member bot to defile his gen with the rep bracelet. That would be a sin in my opinion :)

Thanks for pointing out - hard to notice. I'd guess that letting a watchsmith flatten those bevelled parts shouldn't be too expensive...

Hahah that logic confuses me...

"on wrist not noticeable"

Therefore, no problem :p surely? It's on the wrist that counts, not photographs in my opinion. Photos look great, and it's an interesting flaw so thanks for pointing it out, but I dont think it really matters in the scheme of things.

With my eyesight, I'd probably need a loupe to see it - so wouldn't be a problem for me :)
