I ordered it in December and received a few weeks ago, so it could be the first batch. I'm quite happy with it. Strangely I don't wear it as often as the previous Subs, mainly because I somehow like the Tudor Black Bay 58 which I got in the same delivery. It just wears so nice and easy, amazing. Reminds me of the awesome older 5-digit Subs, but without being so flimsy.First badge?
I think clasp is less accurate but it feels more solid and font is slightly thicker.

I’m thinking about buying ZF BB 58.
when it comes to your VSF LN from first batch, I like both vsf batches - first and latest.
There is no need to wait for any silent upgrades.
Hello guys,
are there differences in build quality in the batches before and after CNY or are there differences in quality between LV and LV or general inconsistencies within all batches before and after CNY?
are the movements before CNY in a better build quality?
have there been any silent upgrades so far or not?
Interesting info bro, thanks for posting.
I would think that the new lift angle of 53 would apply only if a tested movement had both a gen escape wheel and pallet fork though (and probably a gen balance assembly as well). The VS3235 did not replicate the escape wheel or pallet fork but used a non-perforated escape wheel and a normal (thicker pallet stone) pallet fork. IDK if the arc on the rep impulse pin is the same as the gen.
So for the VSF reps, I believe 55 should still be used for the lift angle, as I measured that angle manually.
If a gen escape wheel and pallet fork (and maybe the balance assembly also) are installed, then based on your information a lift angle of 53 looks appropriate.
I will have to manually measure mine again, as I did install a gen escape wheel and pallet fork (but not a gen balance assembly yet).
How's it running with the gen escape wheel and fork?
I have a little bezel play, up and down if you press opposite sides. It's minimal and Rolex forums seem to imply its not uncommon on gen. What's everyone else's like? Are the Vsf bezels adjustable?
Check you don’t have any cellophane wrap under the bezel. I had that first and it made it like you described. Once I removed the bit of torn wrapping it was perfect.
I'm looking at mine and can't see any. Anyone removed a bezel on one of these?
So what's the consensus on the date wheel being lower in the 20 and up day range? Is it like that on every model?
Great so far bro. I haven't had it on the TG lately but I check it against the World Clock every night and so far it's only been off a second or two in about a week. I think the gen escape wheel and pallet fork design was intended more to use less energy (improve PR) than to increase precision so maybe not a necessary upgrade unless that's your goal. My rep escape wheel top pivot broke and the gen escape wheel won't work with the rep pallet fork so I was kind of forced into those two upgrades.
