We have extended the bombing into Syria and regardless what we think about the president, he is our president and deserves our respect and prayers. Our troops deserve our support regardless if we feel the justification for their orders we're legit or not.... hopefully their efforts will be successful and the end will be reached without a long entanglement.

I don't want them to have a password but anyone with even a tiny bit of knowledge knows that it's not a simple process to take away a passport from a U.S. Citizen.
And JAFO, drones have taken care of much of Al Queda's leadership. And no one is saying there are no ground troops. There are ground troops, it's just not our ground troops.

True. After we had gone in and taken their safe haven in Afghanistan and fought a war in two countries against them. Plus they were never at the 30,000 troop mark like ISIL is, nor were they rolling through countries and taking and holding large "cities". And as far as the troops on the ground? How are the Iraqis doing fighting this army of psychos? How's the Syrian army doing? What about the Free Syrian Army? They seem to be getting the shit kicked out of them.
This isn't a situation where we're targeting less than a thousand "leaders". You're talking 30,000 + dog shit insane killers burning through relatively urban environments. And their number is growing every day. They're preaching about the Caliphate like it's gonna be a reality within a year. And it probably will.
And now we know we have Americans who have been over there fighting, getting trained up, and have come back here. They ain't gonna be handing out roses at the airport for a dollar. The shit is about to hit the fan here. And as soon as it does, society here will be changed forever. It'll make the Civil War look like a Sunday School picnic.
I highly doubt that those people who have come back here are a threat. I would have some faith in our intelligence agencies.
This paranoia isn't going to help anyone.

Americans are tired and weary from the stick poking. The loss of freedom. The overpopulation of prisons by non-violent offenders. The obvious economic and societal declination that has been going on for decades.
