Read through this whole thread- surprised not more people went for the Aqua color! it's the one that jumped out at me immediately as the one I want. Looking at video reviews of the IXDAO, which I assume is using mostly the same components as V7F (is this correct?) I'm hesitant to buy the V7F ingenieur in Aqua as it doesn't seem to have quite the metallic sheen that the real one does, and makes the dial color really interesting and helps it shift into different tones. Has anyone posted a video of the V7F with an Aqua dial in different sunlight conditions? would love to see that.

I'm trying to figure out if I should buy this watch or the V7F MkXVIII petit prince on bracelet... or maybe both?

swiss made is not really centered and the 3 index is a little tilted, but flaws are minimal to my noob eyes! I think I will enjoy it very much:)

thank you very much for the support
looks awesome, mine's also not centered but on the wrist they're gonna be so tiny that you wouldn't even notice, enjoy ;)

Alright lads, my clasp broke, what options do I have? I am also kind of unhappy with the lack of micro-adjustments available, so is it possible to get something that would work with micro adjustments?

Yeah that's something I'm very worried about with my V7F as well. The clasp definitely feels flimsy.

Wanna be the first one to get a gen micro adjust clasp and see if it works? I read somewhere that it's around $420+tax or so.

Hmmm, do i want to get a clasp the price of the watch, which broke a month after purchase? Can't say I'm particularly excited about the prospect hahaha
I wonder if there are other micro adjusting clasps that are more affordable that can work, maybe from a different IWC reps, like mark xx?

Haha I totally get you. If it were priced at around $200, I might've bought one.

I read in some of the gen IWC Inginieur threads that someone said the Mark (I don't remember which version though) micro adjust probably will work but they didn't try it since IWC would only sell the bracelet as a set. Hopefully someone with more knowledge about all this will chime in.

I bought a driver but it wouldn't fit correctly in the narrow channel - in the end I used brass tweezers to avoid scratching the screw
