Would it be an upgrade or downgrade for me?
To change to the ARF v3

Currently have ARF SH3135 v2
Or maybe just stick with what I got ?

Is there something actually bothering you? Then you should, by all means. Or are you a victim of RWI hysteria? Meditate on that for a minute..

Here are some more pics of my 2924 V3. We had sunny days for most of the last 2 weeks, but of course today had to be the rainiest day this year. I'm thinking of building an ark and start collecting animals in pairs...

Dang arf hulk looks beautiful, I reordered my black arf sub. I was debating between zzf v2 and arf. Since I already had arf and know how it is, stuck with it. I've read too many mods ppl make with the zzf so I'll stick with my fat lug arf lol.

(Not knocking zzf, I think I could just live with the arf pros vs cons)

I think that choosing ARF is the way to go, if you're only planning on enjoying and wearing a good quality watch. I for one am not willing to spend 350€ on a bloody crystal, that's insane! But that's only my opinion, I completely understand what drives people to do all these mods, it's sort of an obsession. I think they like it more than just getting a gen and they feel empty after the modding is done. I used to be in a similar psychological loop with cars years ago, so I know :)

45 and 55 looks awfully close to crystal on my gen (pic attached) lol.

Don’t know how you guys come up with these “flaws”

I just don’t look that deeply into things like this because ceramic subs have been around since 2012 and there has been numerous batch variations in this time. Nobody has committed to memory all the variations

Gen: compare 45 and 25 marker positions relative to crystal

They come up with them by looking at the latest model online or some google pics that could be any batch from any year since production started.

When you look more into it you usually find that the high end factories have copied a specific year model almost exactly. I agree a lot of obsessing over nothing.

Totally feel you on the cars... and then I picked this hobby thinking it would be cheaper... we will see :jeff:

It is cheaper, if you don't fall in the same rabbit hole :) I only choose watches that I'm happy with OOTB. I sort of understand the new ZZF craze, but you need gen hands, gen crystal, an ARF bracelet and I'm not playing that game. I won't even bother to make a research about why ARF is supposed to be worse. To my eyes it looks exactly like gens I see online, it feels awesome ( the best bezel action I've ever encountered on a rep watch) and I don't worry about being called out, because I don't expose myself to the kind of situations where something like this could happen. Even if it would, I would tell the person to f#&k off. So no worries at all.

Hi guys!
There are differences between Hulk v1 and v3?
An update is required?

Sure. It's absolutely required, otherwise you might get banned. We surely won't tolerate people with V1s around here...

I always find ARF inserts has really fat fonts compared to the gens, way too fat that looks off, what you guys think?

Your best teacher is your last mistake.

You think ARF insert numerals look fatter than this gen?
