While I do agree that the rep rubber strap is not "repped" well.. it is pretty damn comfortable lol I was surprised when I pulled it out.

Is there any difference in length between the rep and gen?

I’m pretty happy with the feel and look of the rep rubber and like the length (admittedly I’ve not tried the gen so have no frame of reference for comparison).

The size is exactly the same. Just the Buckle looks more 'flat' and the texture is more on Gen

How about the nylon? Any possibility of a comparison? I heard the colors were a little off from GEN.

Anyone know what MN ## are currently being shipped? Did the reps make a 22, 23 and now the 24? Stamp on the case back.

Appreciate you weren't asking me, but my black FXD is pretty loud. But I've had other Miyota movements which sound equally as loud.

Sadly though it's something that bothers me, so I'll probably flip the FXD.

Maybe it's me, but my biggest fear with reps are movements that may grenade eventually and cannot be replaced. I therefore prefer an ETA, a Sellita, a Seiko, or a JAPANESE Miyota. If that thing breaks, it can be replaced for the price of a Happy Meal by any watchmaker in the world, easily. A JAPANESE Miyota is like a Toyota. It's pretty much bullet proof and runs and runs and runs forever.
Its beat rate is too slow? Its rotor is noisy? Seriously? First world problems . . .
