It looks like you got the new color bezel. It’s a different shade on the gens too.

Majority on this forum go mad when I mention blue color on date glass.
Here is gen and no blue color on date.

But in VSF commercial video they specifically mention that date glass has a blue color.
So probably VSF did it intentionally to simulate some gen variation or sample which had this blue color. In this case, blue color on date cannot be classified as a deviation.

Because otherwise it looks like you should enjoy the process of sending/packing/reseiving/finsing right people/buying instruments/learning how to set up.

All I want is a watch on my hand, I dont enjoy all additional activities.

And the algorithm is:
1) buy a watch
2) buy a crystal ( separate buying )
3) find someone who can instal the crystal in your city or send watch via post to someone to install and send back
4) Alternative:
4.1 ) learn how to instal yourself
4.2) buy installation instruments

I am not into hand work. I also dont sue my jeans or shirt myself. I just go and buy. And If there is a qeueue or not my size - I just dont buy.

You're making such a big deal out of one of the simplest decisions in life...Buy one, figure out if you can actually see the "flaws" in the metal, decide if you can live with those "flaws" and then flip it within an hour on M2M if you can't. It's no rocket science...

And if you wanted something different to the jeans and shirt on the shelf, you would have to make some additional effort.

Gen watches have a blue tint on the AR. If they dont, they will have a brown or yellow tint instead. All AR coating has a colour, or will reflect a colour. The idea that having a blue tint on your cyclops means it is a tell is stupid. It's right up there with people thinking that if the coronet does not point up when the crown is screwed in means its a fake. Thats stupid too.

So you have a choice of living with it or learning how to do it yourself. That you cannot accept advice or opinion, and draw the simplest things out into endless dismissal and procrastination means that a forum modder is very unlikely to want to do business with you.

I’m the same if there’s a line at the mall toilet I’ll just shit myself right there and move on.

You can’t base it on one picture. Light is a dynamic entity, anyone can make it look colorless from one angle. But there is always a tint, as many people have mentioned. I really wouldn’t worry about it. VSF is top notch. It will look great. Just enjoy the ride.

I’m sure these companies source their crystals from a various sources and the recipe changes. I think that’s why we see all of these differences. I just snagged a gen crystal off eBay for that Starbucks and can’t wait to get it installed. I started to grab a gen submariner bezel crystal and hands some guy had for $300 but settled for just a crystal.

I was actually talking about gen companies getting their crystals from different manufacturers. There’s not a lot of companies making watch crystals anymore so whenever they go to buy another bunch of crystals the company is gone or their equipment or process has changed. I believe that’s why not all gen crystals look the same.
The gap in quality has certainly closed. Even the equipment available to hobbyists is capable of producing top notch parts. It’s certainly a great time in the rep world man.
