Wrong.

There’s only a couple possible ways that gens are using the SAME tint as reps. Rolex gets their crystals from the same manufacturer as the reps or there’s fuckery afoot. Which one do you think it is? I’ve long suspected Rolex of sourcing parts from the chicoms but nothing has come out confirming my suspicions. It’s just hard for me to believe Rolex can produce 1 million high quality timepieces per year with so few employees. The quality of reps have improved exponentially along with the number of gens sold. Many rep parts look like they could’ve came from the same manufacturer. Swiss watch companies have a long history of using Chinese watch manufacturers to produce their watches. I gotta admit you might be right. Rolex could be using the same stuff as reps I just haven’t made that leap yet.

Tint exists on VSF and other reps.
Half of the BMWs built nowadays are assembled in China.
China is leading the charge with EV technology in cars.

All AR coatings will have / will reflect colour in varying degrees. This is usually blue - and that’s not just Rolex, or fake Rolex - it’s the entire AR coating industry, from camera lenses to the inside of my sunglasses. If it’s not blue it will be yellow or brown.

I don’t think there’s a need for any tin foil hat conspiracy meanderings about Rolex. Sure, some of their stuff will be made off-site - the term ‘in-house’ is ambiguous, but it’s a stretch to assume that their supply chain is shared with any rep factories.

My VSF franken with gen crystal has a blue tint as well. Unbelievable how some guys are reaching. Buy the watch, wear the watch. Nobody will know it's a VSF but you. On the wrist nobody will be able to tell.

Mate everyone here has some sort of OCD in terms of micro details be it the ar coating, the catch fish mouth or whatever miniscule details that an average person won't even fine. Guess you can't please everyone.

OCD is one thing. The spreading of misinformation due to naïveté, stubbornness, stupidity and an inability to learn is another.

VSF Sub Starbucks Q66 batch arrived this morning, something about the green bezel I love. The crystal and cyclops/dw are getting closer to gen imo. I have had a few gen crystal and dw and yes you can tell it’s gen but think VSF are getting pretty close.

Wow, that looks just fantastic. Is ut specifically Q66 which has such a fantastic view or all modern VSF are like this?

And how is your impression of green color? I personally dont see the difference with gen.
