Hello guys
I still need help.

I'm going up with vintage raffles build.

I just glued the DW Open6 but it is higher than the Dial support on the movement, which makes it rub the Dial. There must be another Spacer to add no doubt.?

Have you also encountered this problem?
Thanks for any help.

throw some dial dots on the spacer. should give you enough room without interfering with the hour

As @VintageSubEnjoyer mentioned, I used a spacer and some dial dots and it worked fine. The only issue I had was the minute hand being able to clear the hour markers. I was told I could either bend the tip of the minute hand or get some longer post date just hands. Raffles sells these.
It may be fine without doing either, I’m just telling you my experience.

dial dots?whats it is?
I tried by putting small plastic parts to leave play, then I removed them, but now I have the problem with the hour hand that touches the dial.

I have about 1000 of these. If you live in the CONUS I’m happy to send you some. Or they are easy to order.

You can make your own or just leave it because it gives the dial some character.
I'm going to keep it this way I think, I kinda like it, it gives a "lived" vibe to the dial.

To apply new lume dots I could use one of those lume kits and an oiler or do I need some other equipement?
