Thanks, I had it sit down into the case where I barely saw it so that must be the right way.Mine didn't. Sat well below the edge of the movement.

eBay and they are all over the board $60-500Questions for everyone, where's everyone getting their gen dials and how much do they typically go for? Seeing a very wide range of prices on eBay. Thanks!
How much you guys typically pay for one? Trying to figure out what's a good price point. Thanks!eBay and they are all over the board $60-500
Depends on: condition, tritium or luminova, color (silver, gold are mostly cheaper), secial ones like: tapestry or linen, indices type and for which model/reference (160x / 160xx / 162xx)How much you guys typically pay for one? Trying to figure out what's a good price point. Thanks!
Thanks! This really helps guide to see what prices seem to be reasonable! For 16xxx, standard silver ones go for below $100 excl. shipping on eBay auctions. My sample size is following around 20 dials over the past 6 months. Linen silver dials go for $120-150. Gold and champagne ones I have less experience with but sometimes they go a lot cheaper and sometimes a lot more expensive, assume between $70 and $150. Any colorful variations like black or blue go for much higher prices and seldom through auctioning.
I love the idea and the project you have going on. Please keep us posted on this.I already post this request at the "Modification & Repairs" section. May be I get more response here.
Last year I finished the DJ36 with the tiffany blue dial from Raffles. It lookes nice. Here a pic from the current watch:
And anyhow I still look for a pan pan dial in tiffany blue. The pan pan dials are used in the early datejust with the ref. 1601 - 1603 and have a curved edge.
Here a image:
So my idea is to refinish a old 1603 dial using acryl color and toner transfer for the print. I have some experience with toner transfer and did my first prototyp. In the prototype, I wanted to find out whether the toner transfer also works with radius on the dial. To do this, I built a template by shaping a brass disc over a mould. The result is ok for me.
Now I would like to take the next step and use a gen 1603 dial. This could be a dial in poor condition. There are a few offers on Ebay - but even those are still too expensive for me to try. If one of you can sell a cheap dial, please write to me.
That watch he posted on eBay looks horrible lol.
I reported him to eBay. Let’s see if that does any good. And there are stupid people bidding it up to $670 with just over an hour left... Hope they enjoy their $10 piece of shit lol..
And that piece of shite sold for $1185.00
Hopefully, if in fact it goes to a Third party to inspect they will catch it.It's sold already and now some poor buyer is going to get a nice Christmas present... I also reported almost two hours ago...
It's the new "best" on the market, my friend. LOLThat watch he posted on eBay looks horrible lol.

Well, there’s one more reason why I don’t purchase “Gen” watches on eBay.It's the new "best" on the market, my friend. LOL
