I am still getting the hang of this site, so if my question is not in the right spot, I apologize in advance!
I'm curious as to which factory has the "best" Daytona Reps, like a lot of people generally say "VSF" factory has the best submariners, I'm just wondering who really stands out for the Daytona's!
This is one I might pull the trigger on soon, "Daytona 116509 QF 1:1 Best Edition Gray Dial on SS Bracelet SH4130 V3 (Gain Weight)" TD: (Puretime Watches)

Have a look at this spreadsheet, that will tell you which are the best versions for each watch.

Hi guys
I have the newest ARF bracelet from CF. And is about to buy a gen 116500 clasp. But will it fit my bracelet or do I need some new endlinks/easylinks? In order for it to fit the bracelet?

Is QF even considered a good factory on par with CF/BTF to demand the prices, or just a subpar factory trying to take advantage of the "weight hype"?

It depends on what you are planning...
Keep it OOTB and wear it .... the Clean.

If you want to Franken it and build a nice Franken / SuperFranken piece...
Go also for the Clean - especially as 116523
You can get easier GEN parts for fair amount such as: GEN dial, GEN hands ....
You are more flexible for Frankening - you can go the route of a Superluminova build (newer or also older without Rehaut engraving) or a Chromalight build.

When in doubt, get the Clean Factory
I agree.
I got a new Clean Factory Panda Daytona, and it’s fantastic.
Power reserve is amazing. It keeps Time dead on, and the workmanship is hard to believe.
I have a genuine Daytona. My kids and wife were asked to pick out the replica and they were 50-50…
I’m not a huge fan of clean factory Daytonas

What?? Your post doesn’t make any sense. You said you have a clean factory Daytona and it’s fantastic but then go onto say you are not a huge fan of clean factory Daytonas 🤣🤣 so which is it??

I assume he means that he shouldn't have invested in the gen one when noone can effectively tell the difference ;)

I love my gen.

Never knew there were high end reps until recently. Now I’m addicted. Love the idea of trying lots of different watches. I get bored quickly, and love changing it up. I do the same with guns and cars…just keep adding to the collection.

While I agree with you on Gen (4), Rep (4), Cars (7) & Guns :)censored:)... I may disagree on the guns slightly. I believe one needs to have specific calibers for specific needs, while also being proficient with each. Like different models of cars drive differently, so do different make/models of firearms. I hate thinking about ever actually using one for self defense but if that time comes, I DO NOT want to fumble around trying to get a grip on a firearm I am not comfortable/used to... practice, practice, practice muscle memory. Most of mine are also suppressed & will shoot differently on/off. (I am blessed to live in a 'friendly' state that respects conceal carry.)

For those wondering, my wife carries 45 while I prefer 9 ;)

I got off topic... LOL, Clean, BTF, Noob make amazing product more the money. They are great daily wear & I don't have to keep my hand in my pocket for fear of a scratch or someone wanting to borrow

You must live in FL or TX to be packing heat. :)

And although I'm pro-gun (I own a couple) I don't carry. Don't need to. Mind you I grew up in NYC in the 70s & 80s when violent crime was rampant and the total # of murders surpassed 2000 one year. Therefore I'll never understand the need to pack heat. If you do you're looking for trouble has always been my mindset. But it's your life. If that's what floats your boat, knock yourself out.

As mob boss Costello said in the departed: It doesn't add inches to your dick. ;)

I fully understand your point of view. I don't want to come across paranoid... but we live in a crazy world at a crazy time. I believe in being prepared for the unexpected. Call me old school, I keep cash tucked in each vehicle & keep fuel topped off.

I always laugh at these hyper car YT's who make millions from their videos but always complain about vehicles being empty of fuel and/or instrument clusters lit up like a 'Christmas tree'.

I was raised in Seattle where I carried and now live in GA where I carry. Seattle has never been 'friendly' & having a 'lead foot' was always being pulled over & when they saw the CCP on file they'd instantly change their posture.
