Funny thing is that I’ve ordered a Daytona from onewatches. Sent me QC pics within a day or two. I asked him about a deep xtal swap which he said he could do so paid the amount and now waiting on the job to be done.
I posted about it on Reddit and I got a message from someone saying that Steve at onewatches is selling fake deep xtals. Had a look at the guys profile and it’s someone by the name xing_david I think and it looks like he does sell the xtal.
Not sure how true that is, that Steve does not have the proper deep xtal.
I spoke to Steve and he said the xtal he has is a deep one.

I second that, the "Xing" guys are the main trusted sellers of Deep crystals. If he's saying the dealers are selling fakes I would trust his word.
It's possible Steve may have gotten a fake batch and didn't know, or he is getting real crystals from somewhere else that Xing doesn't want to be a part of.
This is also why I don't like getting mods done by the watch dealers, you never know what they're really using or who's doing the work, and you can't appreciate the difference from first seeing the watch as it was from the factory. I prefer to pay a little extra and takes more time to get the mod pieces separately and have the work done by a trusted person here.
Ahh fair enough. I should have asked before getting him to do it for me. Not sure if he has sent watch off to the guy doing the swap. I’m going to message him and find out.
Yes I just did and he says it’s the deep xtal. He’s already sent the watch off to the guy that’s doing the swap so fingers crossed it will be ok I hope lol.

the panda or the mother of pearl dial with diamonds. It would be interesting for me to hear the opinion of people who have either of this watches, how long do you have it do you wear it as a daily and how durable is the watch?

Depends on the dealer or you can buy it from the guy that does them direct, think his name Xing_david

You're buying a Clean Factory Daytona. The dial doesn't affect the watch in any way regarding durability. It's all about which dial you prefer. Buy both!

I am curious. Wouldn’t a gen sapphire crystal with the correct gen gasket fix the same thing for a BTF 116500 Daytona? Or is the deep crystal exchange just different in hight?
This is something that can easily and quickly be done on your own… Just need 2-3 tools from AliE and done courage
