Thanks for the quick reply!!

I have white primer. You said that i will create 'divots' if i start picking on the paint? What's divot? My English is good, but not that good.

By the sound of it, it seems like you don't recommend taking the original paint out…

Thanks for helping. I really want to do mine as good as yours…

divots = holes
if the engraving becomes uneven because you picked out some "chunks" the silver mixture won't fill this in because it's very thin.

if you can carefully scrape away any goo that shouldn't be there that's fine but if you do a hack job on the white paint you will need to remove all of it and redo to get a good pro result.

Looks like I've failed...

I couldn't get it as smooth as you did. I did it 5 times and did not get the results. I decided that maybe using the finest sand paper might help since everyone said that the ceramic bezel was very hard to scratch.

But it did scratch... All around! And now I'm damned.

Is there any where that i can get the bezel replaced? Can it be replaced?

Please help.

sandpaper???
i'm pretty sure sandpaper was not part of the mod.
most dealers can get the ceramic inserts, just make sure you get one from the same factory as the maker of your watch because the BP and noob inserts are not exactly interchangeable.

question

how does the insert look after the dullcote is applied? is it normal for the numbers to become less sparkly...or do i need to start over?

engravings shouldn't be too sparkly anyway.
there should be no discernible difference.

Great job man. I am stopping at the hobby store tomorrow to get supplies to do my noob v1. It was given to me, so I will start with that one.

U.K.
Well I found my way here and loving the info and mod, can I ask is it better to take the insert out of the bezel? or is there a issue with reps BP/Noob/Billy Cheapo 21s, it's perhaps too much of a task to do? However brilliant write up!
