Similar to my wrist size…..Iam about to buy a zf15703.
With a 7,5 inch (about 19cm) Iam not sure if its too big for me.
It wont be used as daily nor as dresswatch, More like a Watch for the Summer for swimming and with t-shirts or Maybe some normal shirts with Rolled up sleeves or so.
What do you guys think?
Funny enough after having a couple of 15500s I’ve been thinking about getting a 15400 myself. When in doubt buy both you could always sell one later…..@g00n looks great, i was thinking about the 15400 But imo the diver is a bit more under the Radar. I Dont Want to flex so much
For sure isnt. Had couple of 15400, gen and rep, diver due to its bulk sort of stands out. Definitely more than ROs do.@g00n looks great, i was thinking about the 15400 But imo the diver is a bit more under the Radar. I Dont Want to flex so much
Just curious why you say so? The 15703 has a closed caseback and nobody will see the movement. The clone 3120 has an even longer date transition than the miyota and 2824. Given a choice I’ll rather have a 2836 in the diver any day for the instant date change function. Yes different features are important to us but a closed caseback takes away the visual aspect (and visual flaws) of any movement immediately.I prefer the 15400 design, but the new 15500 ZF reps just blow the 15400 reps out of the water.
Hoping ZF turns some attention to the divers next. Clone movement in the already-excellent 15703 would be an immediate buy.

One word: ignorance.
Instant date change, really, is the only improvement I'm looking for. If the 2836 movement would do it, I'm all for it.
Good info here, as usual. Learning as I go.
I see. You must have mistaken the 3120 to be the same as the 4302 with regard to the date change. No worries though, learning is what we do sir.One word: ignorance.

Just food for thought, I have had in my hands 2 ZF 15703s up to now. I thought they were both A2824s at the time of purchasing but they both ended up having instant date change, I’m assuming they came with 2836s instead…..I spent a good deal of time reading this thread before asking this question;
I am about to receive my ZF AP 15703 soon and i am contemplating to replace the ZF A2824 movement with either Genuine ETA 2836 movement (Instant date change) or salvage and transplant ETA C07 (Tissot Powermatic) which was based on 2824-2 with 3hz beating rate.
My question is: Which way is more recommended ? Any other suggestion? Apologies for the lack of knowledge but am willing to learn.
