I understand. Of course you're right. I don't think I will play around with it ever again. I would just like to look at the watch and "know I could, if I wanted to" (kind of a universal psychological insight which works well for e.g. waterproof 1000M watches, too
I want to believe that the stem became loose. Would I need special tools for fixing it? Like a screwdriver for the tube? Would you have pictures of the mechanism and its gear wheal so that I could estimate if it makes sense to try it myself (my favorite watch smith is on sick leave for the rest of this year). Would be highly appreciated.
