Hi, just ordered my first replica.

15703 APS factory. Always found it amazing.

I have a few gen watches. No Ap’s.

Just som generall advice. Due to work, i only use a watch 1-2 days of the week.

Should one service the 15703 replica? I read different comments regarding this. Some say within 6 months.

Anything else i should keep in mind?

Thank you

Been reading alot of the comments. Second day here. So most of you find the ZF version 15703 to be the ‘best’ buy. Just ordered the APS version a few days ago. Mistake?

Anyone who preffer the APS version? If so, why?

Hi guys. Bracelet question.... I have an APSF 15710 that only comes on rubber. Would a 15703 JF steel bracelet fit the 15710?

Have lots of divers on rubber but fancy a steel bracelet. If I can get away with just getting a bracelet that would be ideal. Otherwise I'd have to get the whole 15703 on the bracelet)

Im assuming there is no steel bracelet that fits the 15720 quick change yet?

thank you

Read through this thread and many others. Neither google nor GPT (which doesn't know much about watchmaking anyways) could help me find an answer to my question: how can the inner bezel mechanism be repaired? Where can I find pictures of the mechanism? What to expect when I dissect the watch? Will I need a new part, like the gear wheal that moves the ring? Will I need special tools to take off the left crown? Maybe I'm the only one who enjoyed using the inner bezel once in a while (despite your warnings @legend ) and after a couple of years it lost its grip. Now it's the same weak clicks turning it left or right. The watch is old. But I love it. Can someone help me repair it or tell me to live with it as it can not be repaired?

Forgot to mention: it's a JF from 2021. Not sure which version.

Hi all, I'm in the process of ordering my first rep - AP Diver 15710 (black dial). Can you help me with information on which is the best factory for this? I've contacted a few TD's and so far and they have ZF and ASPF in stock.
I've noticed that JF is in the NWBIG list, but seems like it's not available anymore. I've found some mixed opinions and really can't make a decision between ZF and ASPF right now. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

sounds like the stem of your second crown became loose. Same thing can happen with the stem to set the time - either it broke or detached from the gear that spins the geared dive bezel.

If I remember correctly it was possible to install a gen dive bezel in the old JF reps but modding was needed. Some of them did not turn but were solely cosmetic.

Let the watch smith of your choice check the inner workings of your watch - maybe spare parts can be made easily if it is just a broken stem. otherwise you should be happy that it came to a halt at 12 o clock haha

It can be repaired but if you continue to play around with it after repair the same thing will likely happen again. The diver bezel mechanics in the rep isn’t robust and barely functional, a little like trying to fly a paper aeroplane in a downpour.

It is also comparable to operating the chrono in the A7750 sec@12 movement, or playing Russian roulette in revolver with 5 rounds loaded. The chances of something getting shot is pretty high in all the scenarios if you choose to play around.
