Anyone who is thinking of pulling the trigger do it, this is so nice. Obviously the weight is a lot less as it is not gold. I was looking at modding the day wheel but now I have it in from of me I'm happy to leave it.
Me personally don't feel the wrapped version is much of a upgrade, but that's just me.
This is my holy grail watch and could never afford the gen, this is far better in terms of bang for buck so I'm a happy chappy right now.

wow really nice, is the bracelet nice and smooth? How is the sweep, 8 ticks? Does the dial have the sunburst effect?
Sorry I should have remembered that you wanted to know this. Mine has 10 removable links, I removed 2 links to make a snug fit that I like.
Do you have the rose gold bracelet? If so I could send you 1 as I need 1 spare, the job I'm in throws my weight up now and again.

Yeh I love the bracelet, it's very nice but I'm going to use some bike chain wax in the joints to smoothen out the feel. Any recommendations as a cleaner?
The sweep is true 8 beats a second, the dial is better in person it's hard to capture the effect on this iPhone,"still waiting for the 7plus," I'lldust off the dslr for when I review it.

Thank you counting. I had a feeling it was 10 but was complete sure.
I really appreciate the offer about sending me the spare but it's not necessary. I have the yellow gold bracelet and my td sent me a few more but my concern is for the wrapped version I ordered.
It seems I use 11 total which is 6 on one side and 5 on the other plus that link that attaches the clasp to the bracelet which makes it look like 6 and 6. So if the wrapped version comes with 10 as well I'm going to need 1 spare wrapped link which one td already told me they can't get the separately bc of how expensive the bracelet is and I have another saying he will try to see what he could for me.
Im not going to buy a 2nd full wrapped bracelet for 1 link so if this td can't get me the 1 spare I may need to cancel my order until hopefully someone else who also buys the wrapped version has an extra link they don't need as is willing to sell me one.

If this was the plated version they would have no problem getting spare links which my td gave me a few extra free last time but bc it's for the wrapped version I was told the factory will only sell the full bracelet.
The 2nd td who I decided to order from said he "would work something out" so hopefully he comes through for me but I made sure to tell him if he can't get the extra link I would have to take a refund because the watch will not fit otherwise.
I'm hoping it doesn't come down to that, Having to cancel over 1 link. As i said before worst case I may have to wait until some other members buy this watch and if they have a spare link they don't need im hoping they would be willing to sell me one.

Well I don't have the wrapped version in my hands yet only the plated one but just by comparing pics the wrapped one seems to have more of a bright yellow gold color and shine colored to the plated.

I hope the 1 other TD can work somthing out for you.. it is ashame not able to wear a superb watch just because of a small piece of metal..
How bout a gen gold link? I think i saw a couple for sale for under 100 bucks.. you may want to check TRF..

Thanks for your reply buddy my td was somehow able to get the factory to supply the extra link I needed and even added to the bracelet for me so I've given him the ok to ship.
I appreciate the suggestion about getting a gen. link. That would have been a good idea as I've seen them around TRF as well.

That's interesting can you tell me the difference between wrapped and plated? What do both of these mean? I thought it's the same thing!!
