I have the new DD40 as well and it looks great but I did not move it for one day and it stopped working. As soon as I pick it up and shake it, it starts to work again. Do they have to be moved on a daily basis to keep time?

I'm sorry if this comes off rude but holy hell this post made me laugh. To answer your question, yes you have to either put it on a watch winder or wear it, it is a mechanical watch. An automatic one, which means there is a rotor on the inside that spins 360 degrees with the motion of your wrist, think of it as a wind mill. The circular motion of the rotor powers the watch and charges it. So it'll last longer the more you either wear it or turn the crown. There is a limit, on decent movement 48hr charge when full

Guys it's official the YG wrapped day date 40 is here!!!
I was told they will be updating the day and date wheel to white so I would hold off ordering until then.
Who's ordering one? I know I am!

It is a bit expensive but it's at the same price as all the other full gold wrapped watches that BP makes and the gold color has been spot on for the subs so I'm hoping this one will be no different. I am waiting for some better pics and hopefully a better video before I buy it but this has always been my grail watch so if the gold color is spot on then yes I am serious

Hi Guys can someone who has one of these please tell me how many removable links come on the bracelet in total?
I'm only asking bc when I ordered mine I asked for some extra to be added so I'd like to know how many the stock bracelet comes with.

does anyone out there think that the wrapped version on these watches produce the appearance of depth in the gold vs. just plating?

I have the plated and I'm ordering the wrapped to do a comparison but I don't think depth will be noticeable. The color and maybe shine is what I think will be different.

Yes well I already have the yg plated one with the silver Roman numeral dial and I will be ordering the wrapped one with the gold Roman numeral dial. The dials are of the same quality between both watches just different color so the comparison is really about quality and accuracy of the gold coloring of bracelet and case between the wrapped version and the plated one.
