No I couldn't find one that would fit for the day wheel. I do have a date wheel that I bought to swap but I couldn't be bothered to do it be honest.

My date wheel isn't that badly aligned and I'm seriously thinking of selling this watch anyway. I'll save the date wheel for another build.

The day and date wheel are separate. You can use a gen date wheel but it would need to be sanded down to fit as an overlay over the current one which is a lot of work and you are really ruining the gen date wheel.

For the day wheel I think I remember being told it wouldn't work bc the day spins in the opposite direction for movement In the day date I think.

For me this rep isn't so amazing that it's worth spending the money to ruin the date wheel and it doesn't solve this issue with the day font.

I agree. I'll pass on the 40. Waiting for perfect clone to release the gold wrapped DDs at the end of the year. It's 25-30 microns thick and color is spot on. Will build a $4k franken. $1.4k for the gold wrapped watch with ETA and a $2k diamond dial and $300 for gen crystal. That plus gen hands and labor should add up to $4k. Defiantly looking forward to it !! It'll be the DD36. I like that size for a gold watch. Anything bigger and it says I'm trying too hard.

I'm close to pulling the trigger on a 40mm BP Day Date.
I read somewhere that the big will is that on reps the day font changes slowly from 10pm to 2am and on gens it just flicks over at midnight. Is this correct?
Thanks guys.

Anthony they are all the same. No different unless you get a modification or Swiss compared to Asian movement. Look at all the TD and compare. You will find they are all the same

Can any of you gentleman with smaller wrists lend any insight on how you like the 40mm on the wrist vs the 36mm?

Not received it yet mate only got my QC pics yesterday so it only a matter of time. I would say the font is off as the gen has finer, less hight and a little more width than this. Its only a tell if you know, only someone from rwi could spot it haha. I will be trying to mod it with a gen wheel, I've heard that a gen wheel is to thick and will attach to the movement with a different size connection if that makes sense (my terminology is terrible).
