Wow, sounds like you got lucky and got a good one. I had one a while back gratis from the local shop (he wanted my opine on whether he should carry it) and it was, perhaps, the worst cigar experience of my life. I was told that some were good, but the one I had was horrendously bad (although it looked like it had good construction), it had very inconsistent and often poor tasting flavors, burned horribly, etc.

Hmmm... Going through my second mazo of 20 and I haven't had any issues. Construction is without flaws. Burn has generally been good, unless your noting the one pictured which is partly due to my driving the wife's car with the windows down on a 38 degree day. Draw has been perfect. Flavors have been consistent (for me); spice, a little pepper, earth and cedar with just a touch of cinnamon. Maybe a hint of coffee in there as well.

All in all, an above average, nicely priced everyday stick.

How's everyone doing? I am in AZ taking care of my 9 yo girl. She has the Valley Fever, but doing excellent!!!!! Smoked an Opus X a couple of days ago, it was interestingly better than the ones I had so far. Not sure which one it was, about 5 inches long... Well, laterz brothers.

Well, ever since that last Alec Bradley Family Blend, I can't seem to get enough of the damn things. I must have smoked through a whole box by now. I also tried the Black Market, and it's a pretty good stick for the 5.99 (retail!) asking price. I think I've found my new favorite brand...
