100% agree with you! We all can have our own definition of "super clone", but when the watch doesn't work and you can't get spare parts is called a paper weight. With close case back and if you don't mind the difference in the crown height, I can't see an issue of people buying the 2824 version instead when they know if anything breaks you can simply buy another movement, let it be Asian or ETA.As far as I understood, "Super Rep" is defined by a knowledgeable person taking a close look at the watch in his hands. If the caseback is closed, a non-clone movement isn't an argument against it being a Super Rep. Of course, a, R factory watchmaker in Geneva will always see the difference - clone movement or not...
Please accept that many customers prefer an Asian ETA clone for reliability and easy replacement + service in the future.
You don't have to look far for some clone movements issues, the 3KF tear down shows it is poorly assembled. My very own noob 4130 stopped working on the 3rd day, luckily enough it was only surface rust on the movement as if there was rust we can't remove, I'm going to have a good time finding spare parts for it - since we all know noob as exclusivity on the movement and there are no nearest substitute when you prefer a fully working chrono vs an ARF.
