Look really nice, you use weathering effect from modèles?
Great work. Love that it is only partially going tropical!
I baked it to get the lume a bit darker and used an airbrush to add back some dark areas to the middle and the outside of the dial with a 30/70 mix of matte black to thinner and then finished it with matte lacquer to blend the texture.
Looks great, is this the product you used for the crystal?I have no experience of Ruby cases so I do not know.
I installed a T21 just fine on the Raffles case with a slight increase of the bezel I.D. at the hands of a Dremel.
The cheeky thing ordered this strap for itself behind my back which arrived this morning. I really rather like it.

Why does he keep ignoring my emails lol.. does it usually take a week to receive a reply to price inquiry?
And I saw something weird while searching on viet case
Is this scary-looking guy the one who makes Viet case?
Is that the reason why it's so expensive? because it's a home-made product not mass-produced?

Quite a few folks here have had many positive experiences with Ruby.
My first experience has been a nightmare.
They offered a refund, I agreed - I've been waiting 5 weeks [radio silence] .....

Ruby is in the market since a long time. She is selling VN parts, beiing not that pricy as thong.
Good quality but to me not worth the money as you have to work on these either.
For her price you get 10 raffles case.

The only reason I want ruby is because of Rehaut's depth..

I did this on my last build which used a Raffles mid case (pics earlier in the thread) I can’t remember the exact amount but I recall it more or less halving the height,
Was easy enough to do I used a 400grade piece of wet and dry on a flat surface and moved the mid case N S E W across it in an even number of stokes, took about ten minutes to complete
I didn’t remove any height off the crystal or bezel and they fitted fine, I would be interested in trying to remove some height from the crystal and see how it looks if I was to do it again
Made a big difference to my eyes, it bugged me previously about the case as the tall rehault made the dial looked too recessed into the case (IMO)
The Ruby case does appeal to me as it’s flatter in profile and also has a higher crown, these are two details that I don’t believe can be replicated with a Raffles case,

Wow really? That's really good news to hear.
But then, are there any other problems? for example, Wouldn't that weaken the connection between the bezel and the case?
