Latest tropical dial project completed.
engraved for 1966 so its period correct for this dial

tropical dial aged with paints - ochre , chestnut and black
aged 13mm hands to match
swap in setting lever #445
Soldered in factory lug holes.

Also worked on another project for a friend.

He has had this guess quatz watch for over 20 years. It has done him well for along time. He wanted to switch up to something more "tactical " as his job is rather physical at times. and the bracelet was starting to show signs of failing.

He got one of those bund style covered strap so it should be a quick swap right?......well.

It has those funny lugs for an intergraded bracelet.















so with this project its function over fashion so instead of trying to modify the mounting area of either the strap or watch I just went with some metal wire to solve the issue.

and done.

My "riggin" looks like I attached it while sitting in a field

That is cool piece. He would dig it. But he likes his dive watches and He also has an invicta 50mm.

He likes bigums and is eyeing up a pam next

I find thé raffle dial and raffle time hour hand downsized, hère i feeling it better...

The dial is a little small for the case/ rehaut - the chapter ring is too far in. Looks great though.

Sadly, thé proportion of thé dial IS not accurate, raffle dial..., i had a dedicted case for this project that match better for rehaut and global rework, sadly, i miss that there no cut to mount an eta inside, have to find a solution to finish this build...
What Di you think of thé handset, feeling better to me than raffle ones or yuki that all have a downscale hour hands what do you think

It's hard to gauge the hand proprtions with the wrongly scaled dial as a reference.

That 6610 case looks awesome.
