To my understanding, the raffles bezel is a bit too tall.

Here is a picture of my watch with the eBay bezel

i read less than 30.3mm on this ebay auction, th right diameter should be 30.6mm

FWIW - there is a post on RWG (am I allowed to post a link?) where a Rolex Tropic 13 #25-13, Sternkreuz XS 295.469 (outer diameter 29,5 is used TOGETHER WITH THE ORIGINAL GASKET for the non-acrylic Raffles case.

The entire Inner diameter of the bezel itself needs to be enlarged slightly to fit over the crystal . (T21) I have not attempted to modify a bezel to fit a T22 as I have a preference for the domed crystals I believe the T22 OD is larger . I have one made by JMB and can take measurements of it if needed.

I'm aiming for the domed look too, guess i'll get the T21 then.

I think the raffle case are mount with a t22 style crystal, the inner diameter of the raffle bezel is 30.3mm, if I am not wrong, the t21 measure 30.6mm, the T22 30.3, that's why I ve ordered some t22 in replacement but sure the dome aspect is from T21, the crystal i have on my build is more a T21 i think, will measure it if i have some time this week end

Is this from a seller in Taiwan? I ordered one it took over a month to arrive and he had sent me the beveled DJ bezel So he sent a replacement and its yet to arrive.

Agreed the raffles bezel is a bit too tall , however you can sand down the underside of the bezel to reduce the overall height. it does not correct the angle of the bezel but its an improvement.

when compared side by side the angle is noticeable , however on the wrist , its not as obvious

Yes I filed the inner of the bezel. The crystal I used is the sternkreuz t21 if I remember well.

On the left My raffle wip case with the cracked crystal that look like a t22 to me, and on the right, my first build that use a very domed crystal, but not sure if it's a t21 spec as it sit just right at the bezel end, I like it but really not sure to can find one equivalent, I like the way it look, not to height from the dial

Is there a reason for using Tudor sub hands? Incidentally, I notice that Raffles has 13mm "old style" Explorer hands.

I like them more, The hour hand is slightly larger with thinner supports and the min hand is slightly broader with larger lume plot , seconds hand has a pointed tip. Tthey are overall better made and more accurate . I was getting them from a guy on ebay but he fell ill.

I took some time to disassemble my first case, and here wath i measure. The bezel height is 2mm on my case, 2.4mm on the raffle, the inner diameter is 30.4 on mine, 30.3mm on the raffle, my case is not in line with raffle spec, i have 28.9mm for the bezel fit, on the raffle one it's 29.4mm, so my crystal not fit the raffle case....

My first case is engrave 16200, but not seem to be in line with gen spec,

For the moment, i am looking for a mechanical workshop, but after online simulation based on my design, 30 to 40e could be OK for 10 bezel, price per bezel...
