Having seen some more pics, I'm going to hold off till the spelling typo is fixed and the second hand is changed.
I personally don't mind the issue with the seconds hand being different, but the spelling error of "EIGRT" I just cannot bring myself to accept. Each of us has their own criteria for what is acceptable. I am wondering if the rotor wheel from the ZF version will work on this movement? Then I could swap out the rotors.

On closer inspection it appears the ZF version has a yellow gold rotor, but the holes and screws look to be in the same place as the THB rotor, which may mean they are interchangeable. I cannot seem to find gen picture of the back showing the gen rotor but I am assuming the gen has rose gold rotor not yellow gold.

Also, the ZF version has the correct seconds hand. What would be ideal is a THB version, then get donor rotor from ZF and rose gold plate it, then get ZF seconds hand, drop those into the THB, and then Bob's your uncle as they say in England.

Or, instead of getting ZF version as donor just get APSF version that has correct rose gold rotor and also correct seconds hand. Then swap out those into THB version.

So, we just need to wait for the typo to be fixed.

I understand stuff like this happens. I used to work for a publishing company, and we once sent out 130,000 copies of a magazine that had a computer-generated guy fucking a girl upside down on a trapeze. We "censored" it with a big pink circle, thinking that was that. We didn't realize that no one checked the opacity of said circle, so when it was printed, it was basically transparent.

No one spotted it till it was too late. That mistake cost us around a million dollars back in 1995.

The typo and the seconds hand are only issues with the THB in my opinion. Others may have issues with details i cannot see.

The Audemars Piguet embossed text at the base of rotor under the large AP is a little off too. No need for a Reddit alignment tool 😂, looks like the workman might have had 1 to many.

If you’re switching out the rotor you’ll correct both issues at the same time.

Isnt this gap way to wide? This bothers me the most because its the most visible flaw

All reps of the 15xxx series are like that. I have the APSF 15400 and it is exactly the same. Factories don’t seem to be able to the the geometry of this watch right

I noticed that as well but in the other THB colour pictures of the rose gold case the rotor did not have the misaligned writing on the rotor so I believe it was just a one time issue. But good to look out for in QC pictures.
