The original plan for the burgundy was for ecru stitching - David forgot and used a reference picture I'd sent of a previous strap he'd made showing the edge details I also liked. He obviously offered to redo the stitching but I wasn't that bothered - like it the way it is.

I did a buckle mod with spray paint and fine grit sandpaper. I like the rough result.

So the Cordes trio has arrived and they are amazing. The Horween & Shell Cordovan are butter soft. Incredible craftsmanship and detailing. As mentioned previously, the black Horween chromexcel was commissioned specifically for the 288 - the other two will be worn with several different watches. Next order already going on David's calendar.

Mario Paci - Original Kodiak (waterproof Leather) TANTALUM

Ive had this strap for a while now, it is however still available on the TC Straps website. The colour of the strap is perfect for a titanium Pam but I thought it suited the 1033 brilliantly. The Strap itself is very well made as you would expect from a MP and the price point and has that little bit of PRE-V look and history. made by the same factory as the original PRE-V straps, using the same leathers.

i think the ecru stitch on the burgundy would have looked great. Especially for the 605. Which factory and version is that? Looks great though, all of them.

EBAY Rep CAMO Accordion Strap!!! (Cheap)

Just got this strap through the post today!, I've seen the new Gen camo rubbers and through they looked neat for certain watches, anyway I saw this one on the bay and thought I'd give it a try........ Not Bad!, quality is fairly decent!. Whilst not as good as a gen its really not too bad, the rubber feels good, print is not bad, the edges are a little rougher from the mould than the gen but heck its a 20% of the price!.

Well worth it to try it out. I might buy the gen now, just need to check they do it in 24mm.

Here it is on the trusty 243!.

Greenstrap's Nero with Elias knife edge buckle

Jeorge (Giorgos) (greenstraps), is one of my favourite strap makers at the moment. Brilliant quality, amazing Elias buckles and very reasonable prices!.

I came across these straps on HF and have purchased a few (got two more on the way from Greece as we speak). Very easy to deal with and communicate.

The buckle on this one is beautiful, a brass nickel plated knife edge from Elias, aged to perfection.

I have no hesitation in recommending Giorgos to anyone!. ive also got some straps from him for other watches such as my 7031.

Mounted on my grail franken Fiddy, measuring in at 150/90 (just how I like it).

ADEEOS (Kevin Rogers) French painted Ammo Strap

Once regarded as one of the best strap makers around and one of the pioneers of ammo straps, the late Kevin Rogers (ADEEOS) requires little introduction. Highly collectible straps and commanding figures in excess of the original retail price, these are a must for the discerning paneristi. Occasionally you will see these pop up for sale on p dot com, but they don't hang around for long.

I have managed to collect a number of Adeeos Ammo straps over the years, and the craftsmanship never ceases to amaze me. The buckles are impressive, the only buckles I have found of similar appearence are from David Cordes.

This particular strap is a painted French Ammo Strap, the buckle is quite large and very pleasingly brushed on the flat top and bottom, yet polished on the sides. Obviously i've worn it and its no longer pristine looking, but that is the idea of ammo straps, they get better looking the more use and abuse they get!. This one has his signature 'ADEEOS' logo and Monika on the inside.
