Strap Freaks!!!

I recently acquired a new/never buckled Ferretti strap made with a wonderful piece of ammo leather - not sure what exact type but its unusually soft but still has a nice gunpowder whiff. The handmade GPF style flat buckle has a light bead-blasted finish which pairs really well with Ti Bettarini cases.

Francesco Ferretti is a legend in the vintage Panerai world and owned perhaps the greatest collection of Panerai military commissions and vintage watches ever amassed. He also owned one of the first (if not, the first) Panerai AD licenses for his Orologeria in Montecatini Terme and had a Strapmaker on staff. I believe Sr. Ferretti passed away and I can't find much about what happened to his store/museum.

You don't see these around very often - I only have 2 in my collection. Not sure if I should break it in...!

Just beautiful and worth of a museum piece. I'd keep it unworn tbh

Matteo Torre in Italy made this strap for my gen 1945 Rolex 3372 Bubbleback. Super nice and really goes well with the watch.

Stunning strap! While I can appreciate wanting to keep it unworn just think how nice it is going to look worn and broken in. Will continue to get better with age.

ostrich by bosphorus, i believe the leather has been slighted treated, hence the great contrast
