Does anyone know if Orloff straps are still going?
Had one of his Nubuck Crocs a few years ago which i sold with a watch.
would love another one as it was similar to the Jules Verne Panerai one, but without the hefty price tag.

I was lucky to purchase an incredible Kpoy 3652 SF240 from a good friend recently. An amazing homage of the prototype Radiomir with CG - however the strap was not quite up to the standard of the watch. I brought the watch with me on trip to the UK and had my friend Cordes create a new strap for it while I was in the country. Of course, being a Radiomir with soldered lugs, the original strap had to be carefully un-picked and the new one sewn on...

The goal was to match the vintage 'patina' of the watch with a suitable ammo sourced strap. I already had a wonderful 'natural' French ammo strap from Cordes that had a lovely almond tan tone that I thought would be a perfect compliment to the soft stainless case, textured dial and blue Angelus hands - so he went through his stock and found the perfect pouch. I kept the GPF buckle that Kpoy made but we went with more width at the lugs - as you can see from the 'before' pics, the original 26mm was too narrow for the lugs. The selected pouch had some amazing wear marks that we made sure to incorporate into the strap - along with an truly 'vintage' smell ;-)

Here's the before:

During the making and completed:

I love the result.

what size is your wrist and what length do you get your straps? I really like the aesthetic you achieve!

7.5"-8" depending on how much salt/alcohol I've consumed... 150/90 is the measurement on this one. The strap specs always depend on the case & thickness of strap you want for a particular look/feel.

Some straps from Sornsan. I got these made for my wire lug radiomirs. I hate having to work the tiny wirelug screws. So i find this fold over straps easier to use. I can change straps more often without having to worry about the little wire lug screws getting lost or stripped. These of course work well for welded wire lug rads.

does anyone have a link to some decent branded rubber straps? Both 24 and 26mm preferably. Thanks!
