Strap Freaks!!!

I do like a good Simona (di Stefano) strap. Whilst I have a couple of corrigia straps, for some reason despite how nice they look, they have never hit the sweet spot for me. Maybe I need to try more?.

In a different style, I just mounted my 243 on a military green and leather Velcro strap. I was not sure I liked it at 1rst but after a couple of days I love it.

The rubber belt came with it, but I'll remove it as it's useless and is a dust magnet.

That’s freaking nice!

I like leather. And I do t hear much about Thomas’ straps, but to me, they are up there with Corrigia and Di Stefano...

I LOVE AMMO STRAPS!

It has to be said there is just something really cool about a good ammo strap, wether it has a specific history, origin, smell, texture, patina. Every one has a little bit of character and life to it.

Im going to post a few I think.....

This one on the BRONZO is a spectacular Swiss Ammo strap from Ted-Su, lots of beautiful details on this, from the stitching to smooth patina, definitely different to the Gustav ammo straps I have posted previously!.

Another Swiss Ammo Strap, this time from Linvitta Legione, in fact it is this very one here - http://www.linvittalegione.com/lsa1607054, a lovely blasted compass style GPF buckle and all the glorious stitching holes from its previous life!.

So, my 3 Cordes straps are all finished and headed across the pond - should have them on Thursday. Looking forward to seeing the craftsmanship first hand and fitting them up.
