It looks as though you curved the lug ends on a couple of the straps pictured above?

The one you are reffering to have a special insert i made to close the gap between the lugs and strap. Just like the ones in your AP straps.

They only fit the 44mm Luminor case, not the 1950

Actually, I've been looking for a pretty gnarly and chunky gator that has a ton of character and is all bumpy and out of control.

Any ideas who a good maker is for these? I talked to dangerous9 and he only had scraps of good gator like this.

Anyone else have any ideas?

New Strap Day!!!

Greenstraps Caramel

Just arrived from Greece, a lovely caramel colour leather strap from Giorgos with GPF engraved Elias buckle. Vintage gunshot style holes and box stitched. Suite the Fiddy down to the ground!!, I really love these straps from Giorgos, great value and great look! 150/90

You could try Kain Heritage for one of his Gnarly dinosaur 'esque' straps. I have a 24mm from him that is pretty gnarly in places.

I agree. I have a couple of his too for my 3646 welded lug - very soft.

If you don't already have one, I'd recommend that you spec a 27/24mm in Horween chromexcel for your wire lug Radiomirs from David. The fit is incredible and beyond comfortable - the pictures below don't do justice to the way the leather has conformed to the shape of the lugs.

That looks fantastic, I have a few heroic18 straps for the RADS in 27/24mm also superbly made, ill post some pics of those too, I don't think heroic do them in that size anymore.... got one mounted on my 288 at the moment will posts some pics tomorrow. I had David make me one for a RAD not long ago ( a Gustav) with Torched buckle. Goes well on my 508 at the moment.
