Hi guys, just got QC from Toro on a 112 H-factory. Looks good to me, just wanted your opinions on the case if it is h latest?
After a month or so having the H Fac I am considering getting a Noob to see the difference. The sharp edges bug the crap out of me and the spacing in the holes for the screws that hold the straps as well. All in all I get compliments on my watch and Im happy with it. I just can't wear it around my rich friends who have Pams. They would spot it in a heart beat. Also the Dial has a huge hole in the center that holds the hands in place. You can see it really well. The hour hand base is also too small .
But I love wearing this thing. Its siiiiiiiiiick ! Ive Highly considered buying a Gen on my AMEX. LOL

PAM gang, I haven't purchased a PAM rep since 2012/2013 and am looking to pick up a nice 390 and 000. As I understand it, the general consensus seems to be H-fac for the 000 and Noob for the 390, would I be correct in assuming this?
it is hard to say considering hfac is recycling their parts. there have been cases whr members also received noob 111 and 005s in the latest case. confusing time indeed.

That is disappointing but I suppose not surprising. I have to admit, while I do love Panerai I am no PAM expert. If I were to provide you with QC photos would the new/old parts be identifiable? I was planning to go with Saed on this order as his prices are pretty damn impressive on the PAMs, I did let him know I was planning to do a review of the two watches once they arrive (lots of reading up on PAM is in-order) so hopefully he will keep an eye out for a decent piece. I will post here just as a double safety-measure.
But if it were an all new-parts H-fac up against the Noob would it be best going for the Hfac 000 and the Noob 390? Or Hfac 000 and 390?

Do note that the 390 comes with v3 crownguard which is not as accurate as the previous batch. Maybe you can try Noob 005. Fellow member Bozz got one with latest case and cg.
Interesting. I was more going for the 390 to complement the 000 for the gold hands and the brownish dial so there would be a bit of contrast between the 000 and the 390.
I will look a bit more into the cg issue with the 390 and see if it is a flaw I can accept. Still in the research stages of my purchase so it's best I learn about as many of the features and flaws as I can.
I think i'll focus on the 000 for now as I have read a little more on it, I'll ask saed to specifically keep an eye out for a piece using the new case-set
I received 000 from Sead, but lume '6' looks like garbage. :-(( , it looks more awful with naked eye...
TD's must be questioned, they are sending same QC photoes to everybody, and here is the result.. And they only sending photoes that we cant see any faults.

That's H-factory for ya lol. Bad qcs from the factory. I guess that's what you get for 'cheap' price. :/ Thats why its important to study the qc pics carefully.

Question - do the numbers have the more sausage effect lume application? Like the dials early in this thread?

yeah, its too embossed, but the lume shines better then my gen pam111
unk: thats very interesting.the strap is custom made by bosphorus straps.
After all the information given in this thread, it is not easy to decide... Can the PAM-experts help: What is the most gen-like Pam from H-factory at the moment?
i asked same question for pam000, the answer was HF, but the result is this watch :laugh:
