Thanks for the tutorial. Just ordered some sand paper. Will give it a try once I get them.

What's the easiest way to separate the bezel from the case. Apologies if its a noob question.

Also a source for a good replacement saphire xtal for this case. I have scratched up the AR on mine.

Awesome... have a watch smith separate the bezel from the case. my local guy charged me $5 bucks to pull it off. You can find a new sapphire online. just measure your glass to make sure you get correct size. I think it is 33.5mm but don't quote me on that. Be very patient with wet sanding. watch tutorials online about wet sanding metal to a polish finish..etc to get the idea around it. Remember once you sand something down it cant be brought back. Good Luck. Ill post pictures soon of the H-Factory Bezel on the case when I get it.

Great job calebloco, maybe as kampachi said you got microscopically too round edges, but these are differences impossible to quantify just like slight machining variations from different batches. I like how it turned out and my opinion is that as long as it looks good/better in your eyes then it is. :)

Just a side note, sanding and getting back to a polished finish by hand is a very difficult task that I am going through right now with a 6154 case I'm working on, and things can go out of hand very easily.

Imho the required light softening of the upper and lower edges of the bezel can be.achieved in an easier and less risky way with a felt wheel mounted on a dremel and some brown dialux paste. Then a few passes with your favourite polishing compounds should do the trick to get back to a mirror finish while keeping the softened edges.

In any case props to you for a very nice work!

Qc and real life pics of my new H-Factory 005. I have no clue if the case is the latest one but having owned the Noob 005 V2.5 the dial of my new H005 is by far superior. The CG seems the worst part to me. Any good tuto how to get it more gen like on the inner edges? Or should i just go for it as is?

Case is surely the latest H fac, very nice case imho although the finish is not 100% correct especially on the bezel (base rim is too tall and transition too sharp).
I'm not sure what do you mean about the CG, only thing that could be improved imho is the pin which should have a slight chamfer and maybe the tip a bit closer to the case?

I thought about the chamfered inner edges on the CG could be improved? And thx a lot for your comments and thoughts Kilo[emoji106]

Haha kilo, does it look familiar to you? Lol. Jokes aside, these dials are quite nice. Imo, the best 'replicated' sausage so far.
PAMaholic the case You got is one of the older batches with high lug attachment. The crown guard seems to have a very small rounded edge. The one I got on my 411 has perfect sharp corners. That said, hfac cg's have always lacked the finishing of a gen/noob cg. If you have a noob and hfac cg, place them side by side and you will understand what I'm trying to say. Gotta say, nice dial though.

I must admit, this pic made me choke. Satin finish on the inside edge of the markers and round border of the center hole... I thought these features could be not done right by the makers...

Thx, Kampachi! Also it seems as this is the standard used case for the "new 005 H-Factory". Have a look at intimes offering where i got mine from and it looks like exactly the same case. That said i am not sure H-Factory changed all their case sets. It looks they exchanged them only in particular models?!

Yes, the caseset is with the old high bezel. But the crown looks updated, right? The dial is amazing... impressive.
