Thanks for the comparison pics alpkop

From the beginning I was saying that H maker bezel was more a problem of thansition edge than of height of the base.
Usually I said "the bezel seems to have higher base and this matter is enhanced by a sharper transition edge"
With your pics it seems clear that the height is almost perfect, but the shaper edge makes the feeling the base is higher

Anyway, the Hamker you are showing is most lileky LAST H maker batches, because the first batches most likely were really with higher base.
It seems that H maker has lastly corrected a bit the flaw, although the sharper edge remains still producing a weird aspect and an obvious tell

Thanks again

Thanks for the answer. What can be said about the quality of PAM 111 and PAM 411 from H factory?

I received 000 from Sead, but lume '6' looks like garbage. :-(( , it looks more awful with naked eye...
TD's must be questioned, they are sending same QC photoes to everybody, and here is the result.. And they only sending photoes that we cant see any faults.

Got my QC pics of the new H Maker - please let me know what you guys think!
Can't tell the lume structure from these pics but I did specify that I wanted the new "cavity filled" style - and the spacing of the right lug-hole as some others have seen suggests that it is the new HFac and thus the new flat-lume dial. Thank you in advance for your expertise, have gone through this thread with a fine-tooth comb!

The straight edge mirror look bugged the crap out of me.. I bought a modded H factory from Bozz and is almost like gen except for the fact that the "S" curve on the mirror finish is still not there. But.... This is an easy fix. 2000 grit sand paper and wet sanding will obtain the the "S" finish on the bevel. I was able to achieve this with my spare H Factory case from a few months ago. If you keep polishing/wet sanding you will almost get the final polish finish, plus the "S" curve in the bevel will be there. Let me know what you all think. I should be getting it back from watch shop later this week with final polish attached to case.

I have the same problem with my 000 the 6 has a slight blemmish and is noticeable to me but only if you really stare at it. Im going to order another one from Sead with hopefully a perfect looking dial. I may also get the dial I have right now re-lumed for $100 from my local watch smith. I feel your pain. the pics are not the greatest when they email them too you but this is the game you pay. In the end if it isn't what you like you could go Gen. Cheers Mate

The straight mirror finish of the bevel bothers me more than the 6. I can live with the 6 on my pam. Getting the case and bevel correct should be soon much easier to do now with the current set up most factories have now a days. Watch look great btw.

Tutorial... Hmmmm Well its actually fairly easy to do. I took over 4-5 hrs of straight wet sanding. I started off with 1000 Grit on the edges and slowly worked all around the bottom flat edge of the bevel. Water is your friend,. Make sure you have water on the sand paper at a ll times. No dry contact at all. Counting your strokes and making sure your coverage is even all around is key. Once you get the sharp edge rounded a bit then you begin with 1500. The polish look will start to form a bit. Then move on to 2000 grit wet sanding which was the final stage for me. I think I spent over an hour at this stage. Main key is to take your time... Very slow strokes in the beginning when getting the sharp edge out. This will be the most critical part and will take the longest to get perfect. Next Bevel I do I will take pics of each stage. PM me for more info and what I used on this. This was all the watch needed to be a great piece than it already is. Cheers.. Hope this makes sense.

Thanks for the tutorial. Just ordered some sand paper. Will give it a try once I get them.

What's the easiest way to separate the bezel from the case. Apologies if its a noob question.

Also a source for a good replacement saphire xtal for this case. I have scratched up the AR on mine.

Honestly I think it might have been safer going the 'sandwich dial' route where the lume isn't as visible but then ofc I never really liked the sandwich dial. Hope you get yours sorted out and I might take your idea and have it relumed by a watchsmith. I thought I was the only one that maybe had a high expectation (never seen a noob with such blemishes). Thanks for you comment :)
