Most people won't even notice what's on the wrist unless they are watch enthusiasts like us nerds on here and it's usually the ladies 25 and older that will judge the shoes and how neat your appearance is. It shows them that you care about how you present yourself to others.
Was that one compliment letting you know how proud they are of you for getting new shoes that didn't have the velcro

This, but with watchesWell, that really depends. When I was a journalist, I wore a nodate sub all the time, really no one gave a toss about it. But when I work at the law firm specialising in M&A, my partners can cite how many deluxe watches I have and when did I buy them (when they first saw them).
The financial world is a vanity fair. This, but with watches
I got the "fuck you" status, so i rock which reps i want. Richard millies and 5 usd aliexpress moschino tshirts in a 300 people farmer village, driving a john deere tractor? I dont give a fuck
Same herr'e, great to readMe too There is less folks in our Village, NW Highlands of Scotland, and yeah, I had Velcro's a few years ago, at least they were Reeboks for bumming around the Boat club, where I also wore Zimbabalooba trousers, (still do)
I like them, I don't give one single fuck, and folks in most of the NW Highlands treat everyone equally, with the exception of a few of the incomers who think they are above everyone else, and usually end up pissing off back to where they came from
Yeah this. lol.I have Gens and Reps. At my age, I don't care what people think. I wear what I like for the day. I can afford to buy more Gens, but I have more fun buying the best Reps. I have a Breitling watch in both Gen and Rep with stickers on the caseback, so I can tell which is the Gen.
As such this watch no longer gets enough wrist time and am thinking of posting a M2M sale
I have worn fakes to work and nobody cares. I don't wear fake Pateks or anything crazy like that. People know I like watches, I spend my income on watches, both real and fake. Being knowledgeable is half the battle. Simply being able to explain the difference between a 4, 5, and 6 digit Rolex is going to get anyone to stop any questions about authenticity.I wear my fake to work. No one cares. As for judging income against cost of watch, people spend on what their passion is. 20 years ago I spent £9k on an acoustic guitar (it’s worth £30k now). I was only earning £16k at the time, but I made it work juggling interest free deals for three years. Because it’s what I really really wanted.
