Ha Ha I love the Over Exposed pics that are misleading. The Sinn watch looks great and I always wanted one. I hope they make the U1 down the road and the metal bracelet. I am real happy about this rep. It is not the normal Rolex sub stuff we see all the time etc.

Ok some more tales... The green gasket is actually accurate to the genuine (at least in terms of colour). It's called Viton ring. Different materials from the usual black coloured gasket that we see.

Here's the lumeshot. The genuine is not that bright (C1, maybe some other brand because glow colour is somehow different). Actually the dial and the hands have different glow colour:

Pix, that picture is taken at a different angle probably underwater too. I have seen many genuine U2s, the rehaut appears not too deep because of the thickness of the crystal used. Looking from the side, it's like Panerai Luminor watches with bottle effect.

Made in Germany is printed in black text and so is Ar logo on the dial.

My guess is that the Sinn will be like the Grahams or ORIS Reps . You first saw one model and now there are Many. After a year you can get the same model (similar structure) for about $120 in Quartz with a mineral crystal. I remember the oris COSTE diver came in rubber strap only for a year and now you can get the metal bracelet with it for about the same price so I expect the same with the SINN. The matching metal bracelets really complement the watch. I am really pleased with the intro price (no price guoging). I plan on ordering one after reading a detailed review from other rep owners. :D

My brother in law is wealthy. he has a extensive gen collection. he likes to kid me about my reps. Some of my Reps are pretty close to his Gens for fa fraction of the cost. he has both the U1 and U2 on braceletc. Both are beatiful. I actually like the looks of the U1 better.

josh remove the SINN U2 from his site. I only see it on Trusty site. I decided to wait till I see the U2 on metal bracelets as I am not a fan of rubber. I know this will take about a year but I have enough watches. i am also tired of being the first to owna dn sending the watches back to the dealer etc. I will wait till the bugs are out and perhaps if the U1 on bracelet is offered.

I would say that you should consider buying the gen... This will be a similar case to Omega Seamaster Pro Bond. The genuine is relatively not that expensive anyway. It offers ++ points that the reps won't be able to achieve. Used gens U2 comes similarly priced like ETA2893 powered Panerai replica. You have to consider the movement too. Genuine comes with ETA2893 movement (much more refined than the 2836+ modification).

Well... if the U1 Tempus comes out, I will get that one. I already have genuine rubber strap for that ;)

No GMT, so ETA2824-2 movement will be the same/similar to the genuine.

Anyone to confirm the lugsize is 22 ? I'd like to order my additionnal strap while the rep is on its way :)

Here's one model with the "Made in Germany" in white instead of black.

I'm convinced there are many variations of this U2... And am still confident in finding one that has the same seconds hand as the rep... :|

That is reflection of the light. By design, the Ar logo on the dial and Made in Germany are always printed on black ink.

I can achieve similar effect if the watch was photograped in similar position/angle and settings.

Lug size is 22mm.
