Where is the collectors corner, I can't seem to find it, maybe I just can't see the wood for the trees?@StreetFighter
Only $730usd for the mods, plus the base 570, that watch will sell in seconds for $1300. I’d probably put it up for trade before I sold a nice piece like that for $1300, keyless is super easy to fix.
I would probably also contact a sales mod and ask if it can be sold for more in the collectors corner. See what they say, as you state you paid more than “retail” for it originally.
It may fit in the case but the crown stem won’t line up with the hole in the movement. You need a eta2824 or clone 3135Newbie question. Got a nos tc v6 that I bought in, I think 2016, got also a gen 2836-2 laying around.
Does the 2836 fit in the v6 case?
No unfortunately he did not. I just threw an ETA into a 16610 case and got a Rafflesdial 14060 dial shaved down to fit it.Tc made no dates? Or you just used a 16610 case?
Search the ground for it xD. Alternatively get gen off eBay, or buy an assorted bundle off of Amazon (just search Rolex sub springbar) and one will prob fit.Just lost my clasp spring bar..
The code for the gen spring bar is #32-20936, but ain't sure the guys at the ad sell it without bringing the watch.
Does anyone know where to get a replacement?
Ahah seached everywhere, going crazy right now! Probably is going to get vacuumed or I randomly find it in like 6 months.Search the ground for it xD. Alternatively get gen off eBay, or buy an assorted bundle off of Amazon (just search Rolex sub springbar) and one will prob fit.
Dit you change anything on the case, I know there are case differences between 16610 and 14060. one being thinner and a tad smaller I thinkNo unfortunately he did not. I just threw an ETA into a 16610 case and got a Rafflesdial 14060 dial shaved down to fit it.
Hi looking at some of the old posts, ive a rouge which I would like to swap the date wheel to a white and the seconds hand also, any ideas where I can get them pleaseThe black date wheel I didn't do. This was a TC 'rouge', TC himself sold it with a the black DW and a red 2nd hand calling it a 'rouge'.
The mods I have done are..
swapped out red 2nd hand for silver
gen insert
gen tube & gen crown
gen crystal with an aftermarket gen spec gasket
F Serial and engravings between the lugs
Case refinished, added chamfers
The intention was to swap in a gen 3135 movement but when I did, it did not fit right, it was sitting too shallow in the case for the stem (I made a thread about that recently) so I just put it back torghter and havent looked at it since. I need to fix the movement and do the DW back to stock too.
Again I cheated. The 16610 case is slightly wider than the 14060 and so is the dial, I have forgotten but it could be 1mm. I just stuck to the 16610 dimensions.Dit you change anything on the case, I know there are case differences between 16610 and 14060. one being thinner and a tad smaller I think
And the dial fits? Or how does that go?Again I cheated. The 16610 case is slightly wider than the 14060 and so is the dial, I have forgotten but it could be 1mm. I just stuck to the 16610 dimensions.
No unfortunately. The Rafflesdial is 29mm. The TC case is 27.something mm. My watchmaker made a jig for it and shaved off the exact required amount to get it to fit.And the dial fits? Or how does that go?
I see, who is the watchmaker? No unfortunately. The Rafflesdial is 29mm. The TC case is 27.something mm. My watchmaker made a jig for it and shaved off the exact required amount to get it to fit.
