Just had a rather unpleasant experience selling a watch.
Prospective buyer (won’t name, don’t ask) requests for pics. That’s fine. I am happy to provide hi-res pics of every aspect of the watch.
But then following up with a low ball offer is not cool. Quite disrespectful as I care to price reasonably. I spend hours making the best work of my current ability. what I put as work fee is far from covering this time.

The money is just to cover tools and consumables…and it’s also my hobbyist pleasure to see that people value my work enough to pay a bit for it.
Then doubting my word when I inform that the watch is already sold…
…and then asking for a commission.
Come on man, I don’t want to have anything to do with you. I just don’t need the aggravation as I know you will nitpick me to death.

Sorry for the unusual rant, but I needed to get this off my chest.
