Looks good, my friend!
If you desire to sell the Spectre let me know I am looking for one!I’m enjoying mine, rotor is quiet and am a fan of the nato which I never thought I would say. Bezel numerals not showing in certain lights is a non issue.
Now I have a NTTD on the way so will see which wins the battle
Thank you, you obviously have great taste . If I could only have a one watch collection, a gen of this would be it.Since everybody seems to be OOS, let's hope there's somebody trying to sell theirs soon. Can't wait to get my hand on one and put it on a rubber (or brown leather like @MattSP. Looks great!)
Interesting looking homage that is clearly based on the current heritage Seamaster 300 with the cutout numerals and aluminium bezel. Right down to the lollipop seconds hand. Which reminds me, I'm surprised it hasn't been repped yet.Thank you, you obviously have great taste . If I could only have a one watch collection, a gen of this would be it.
Stock does seem, more with this particular rep than most others, to be constantly in a state of feast or famine. Where the factory (ies) will make a batch, sell em all, then wait a year or two for the feeding frenzy to begin again.
My own impatience to have one prompted me buy a San Martin homage to tide me over, which it did admirably. Without wanting to get into a debate about accuracy details, it does get most of the important stuff right enough to give me the " spectre experience". The build quality is very robust & the bezel action is significantly better than my vsf v2.
It's a cracking watch but for me, didn't quite scratch that particular itch.
Between the two, I still prefer the previous model which the Spectre is also based on. Not a fan of the conical crown and cut out numbers on the heritage. The ceramic bezel alone makes the previous one look that much better I feel.@imranbecks
Ah! Thank you, yes seamaster heritage, that's it!
To me, this range follows the same vintage design ideology, apologies for slack description.
The aluminium bezel, the sandwiched dial. It looks to be an easy watch to rep. Really shocking none has been made yet.Surprised that the current Heritage SM300 hasn't been repped yet, because I would love for this to be on my wrist rather than the Spectre. I have a San Martin pilot's watch, quite happy with it...but what I really miss with their homage is the printing. The dial seems so empty without the typical imprints, and the only watch where I want a dial void of logos and information other than numerals is a classic B watch ;-)
Gen, because the liquidmetal numbers can still be seen on the bezel even under the shadow or reflection. I'd be surprised if that's a rep.
Gotcha. It was hard for me to see the numbers. I figured I defer to you since I trust your input.Gen, because the liquidmetal numbers can still be seen on the bezel even under the shadow or reflection. I'd be surprised if that's a rep.
What watch is that on the left? Or is that gen, cause that is what I wantBetween the two, I still prefer the previous model which the Spectre is also based on. They're both gens. The one on the left is the current Seamaster 300 model. What watch is that on the left? Or is that gen, cause that is what I want
Yeah that is what I thought, looks so good congrats. I recently almost bought the Seamaster 300 heritage Gen. I could not justify the price difference between the Seamaster 300m Professional and the heritage spec wise. But I knew I would be wanting the Heritage if I went for the 300m. So I said screw it and went Speedy Pro. Still want the Heritage though, it just looks so clean .They're both gens. The one on the left is the current Seamaster 300 model.
@Geonor Where di you get that strap? Looks lovely!
