The exact Spectre bracelet is very hard to source, tried everywhere but with no luck. Wonder if a 21mm SM150 with a swap in 007 clasp would work?

A shame about the clasp on the recent rep. Why is it downsized??? Weird. Anyway this watch looks better on the nato strap imo. I feel it wears really chunky on the bracelet. Even my gen of the regular 300 is on the nato ever since I got it. The bracelet that came with the watch is still mint and wrapped in plastic

I am getting my watch in the mail and am curious how crappy the bracelet feels. Doesnt seem like there are many aftermarket options so I will probably throw it on the NATO or a leather bracelet.

I think the main issue with this watch remains the darkness of the numerals on the bezel. In most light they disappear.
Yes that cannot be helped. Unless the rep makers can get their hands on liquidmetal and the technology to combine the numerals with the ceramic bezel like how it is on the gen, that part would always be the tell on this rep.

This is true. The watch I received a month ago from Hont is as good as it's going to get with the exception of the numbers disappearing on the bezel in certain lighting.

I really want to like this watch but the bezel is bugging me. How bad is the bezel practically? A lot of photos I'm seeing the bezel looks black and 90% of the time you can not see the numerals at a distance or they look incredibly dull. Is this the case on the wrist or is it not that bad?

Honestly, it's worse in real life than the pics make it seem. It's very disappointing

I disagree.
I have had this watch ( vsf newest version) for about 4 months. It is still my main , after work, daily wearer. The bezel action isn't brilliant but the numerals are certainly good enough.

I think it would bug me knowing the bezel numerals on the Gen are super legible and mine is not. The way the bezel looks (basically flat black) most of the time unless in certain lighting makes the watch look odd IMO.

Wish it wasn't the case, "good enough" seems pretty subjective unfortunately. The watch is fucking beautiful bar this one thing.

Are you sure you got the VSF one? If so, you should clean the bezel.

For me, the bezel isn't perfect, but good enough for less than 1/20 price you paid comparing to gen. Although in some light condition the number will dissapear, but in most cases it isn't, wether it's intense or dim light.
