Oh another observation to add: Bezel Markers - engraving is pretty shallow and paint is flat with little to no platinum effect. Not too big of an issue to me because the fonts are good.

For a sport model at this price, you are only losing out on:
1) Correct movement (but better stability)
2) Correct steel grade

Every other part is the same as those used on its $400-500 counterpart.

First off all hello and congrats on your new watch and yes there are some ways to mod this watch.
Hand stack can be corrected using a A3187,Genuine 3185 to 3187 or you can ask your modder to build a Modded 3185 movement using a Yuki 3135 or SH3135 as a base movement parts inorder to make a SH3185 is gonna cost 500-700$ if i remember it correctly and SH3135 costs 200? (I'm not sure about the price of the Sh3135 or the yuki movement i don't want to misguide you about that.)depending on the place and from the seller you buy at the same time if you want to have a CHS (Correct Hand Stack) you will need to find a genuine handset from places like chrono24 or our forums modders can get you one. Bezel can be cleaned inorder to make it much more smoother i think. If you want to go to the franken route on the movement side of things it would be the best to get your date wheel changed as well and some parts with it to make it stable whole franken movement. If you dedicated enough to spend the amount of the money for the movement and for the hands congrats and it would be nice if you replace the dial because of gen rolex indices at 12,6,9 are rounded but on the replica dial it is not and i adivse you to get a Xtal crystal or buy a genuine crystal fro chrono24

As i said earlier if your are dedicated for this project in order to get a sexy watch good luck and enjoy your franken watch.

Ps: There are modders at uk but sadly can't remember their account so sorry about that.

So, other than DW and crystal,bezel, RG color and size are correct?

Just received my BP ICHS

Few things I noticed:
- Bezel transition, the brown touches the 8 in 18, which is correct
- Crystal sits a little high, protruding from the bezel slightly
- Sides of endlinks have are rose gold

This is a BP A2836 rootbeer which I purchased from Chazingtime. I’m sure any other TD can get you the same watch too.

The color transition at the 6 and 18 looks decent. If only they could do that with the BLNR...

Colour transition is the least of the problems.

I’d say the transition is a non issue.

In real life the blue and black blend into each other (in gen and rep). The “transition” is only a thing somebody noted when comparing static pics on the internet and now it’s fed already paranoid rep community.


Dial / hands / cyclops is the real issue.

We did a gen vs rep review earlier.

Does anyone know how to mod a ICHS into a CHS?? I read on the vintage gmt threads that there are ways to make it into a CHS, but I couldn’t find more details into it....

A CHS calibre?? Or something easier/cheaper? Lol
