I will try in a few days and let you know. The scallops of the bezel bothers me also. They are too sharp and at the same time feels flimsy and of light material compared to gen. Plus the recess at the bottom of the bezel is wrong, and the polishing too compared to Gen.

Edit: my feeling is that it’s not only the flimsiness of the click spring but also the material of which the bezel internal scallops is made of, shape and dimensions of those. Just a feeling tho. I will know when i have it on hand side by side.

You can see below that the shape is bad, the material look different not only in finishing but somehow porosity too which means the alloy was not properly tempered. And the Crystal is not as flush as Gen. (Above)
Thanks again for your intervention.
Of course if you mount the wso bezel you should solve all the poor quality you described, if wso is valid and you've had the opportunity to have it in your hands.
Let me know sure it could be a purchase that I could make in case.

I have it on hands. Pour quality of the photos I’m sorry but you can see that is much much better and feels much much better. In the photo is compared to gen.

I don’t know if it fits properly on the RAF/ARF yet. Or if it needs a new retaining ring (I hope not). But I will know farely soon.
Plus is kinda of a fat 4 bezel which I like.

Great thanks a lot.
at this point I am anxiously awaiting your confirmation on the validity of the changes to be made.
why do you hope that the retaining ring is not needed? is it the only part not included in the wso bezel?
It seems to me that click spring is also in that package, right?

I had my chance at wso bezel assembly in his gold plated addition, and although the click action wasn't too bad paired with my ST crystal retainer I wasn't too fond of the teeth cut outs...they were very inconsistent. Hopefully this isn't the case with his stainless steel bezels.

His products are hit & miss, his 7xx crown tubes are good then his endlinks suck, 3135 hands sets are trash but then his 14k bracelets are good!

Hit or miss like I said.

Here's the wso gold plated bezel ring. $100.usd

Wow those teeth cut out are bad, you are right. I'll take a photo of mine and share it here. Tho I can tell you already I'm afraid that given that yours is plated and mine is stainless steel, they might both come out from the same mould hence have the same issue. I'll let you guys know asap.

My hands are not very steady when it comes to photos but here it is. As you can see the finishing of the teeth isn’t very good on mine either. I’m curious to try it on and see. What do you think? It looks so have the exact same issue as yours. Same mould probably.

I’m not familiar with ST. Is it an alternative for bezel assembly? If so where can I find it?

Guys I wanted to ask your opinion about something. I was reading a bunch of articles about the Kermit and I came across this comparison.
It looks like that the fat4 d1/b1 (2003/2004) has thicker lugs (more ARF/RAF like) than the non fat 4 on the left Kermit (circa 2005).
Do you see it too or am I going crazy? Or is something already known?

Most likely variation from the factory and/or polishing. Picture angle and lighting can also be a factor.

The reality is that not all 16610 CGs and lugs look identical.

There are variations over the years for 16610s. Lugs and CGs have slight differences. Almost imperceivable.... except to watch nerds like us lol

Exactly... all these watches have been hand finished and polished before leaving the Rolex Factory. No two are identical and I'm sure rolex employeed dozens and likely hundreds of people to do this work. These small differences are all within Rolexs tolerance.

Subsequent polishing after purchase also exacerbate the small differences. Additionally, lighting and picture angle are a factor when taking pictures.
