Meanwhile, I received the bezel you guy suggested from eBay. It feels very good. Much much much closer to gen than ARF/RAF. And it was only 98 dollars or so!

Did not install it yet as my watch is at the watchsmith for other work but I am very excited

Also interested in a link for the bezel.

First watch my TD found a flaw and returned, second watch has the gap between case and crown. Now going back for the 3rd round some time after CNY...

Do you have a WSO bezel assembly or the one from StarTime ?

The older JF models (before ARF ... before RAF) had very good bezels... but changed them within the "evolution" of the JF versions :(

I can concur that the late JF bezel was terrible. Bezel action was terrible and the one i got wasn't even gen spec (i couldn't fit gen insert)

Really ?
I have had two JF 16610 and both were great pieces (one I still have and is a SuperFranken - bought this a base watch)
No issues with insert or such thing. I still use there the JF bezel assemby with GEN Tritium insert.

I only heard the latest batch of JF (before it became ARF) were much bader ... But I never had one of these.

Yes. I replaced it by a TC and insert fits perfectly

also for me the second one proposed, by the way always arf, still had the problem of the case crown gap, but I accepted it anyway I will have it fixed by my watchmaker, otherwise with the cny it would take too long

This is the link to it. It’s the WSO.

I got the one without the retaining ring I hope it will work with the ARF retaining ring.

I’ll send photos shortly comparing with gen

I ordered a raf bracelet in November from a TD and still haven't gotten it. When I follow up, they said getting parts takes longer than getting a watch. I'm wondering why can't they send me a bracelet from one of the QC rejects?

QC rejects are sent back to the factory so they can get a different one. Factories sell watches first; parts for watches are only sold when extras are available.

Can anyone who received theirs have a 6 digit bracelet they can try fitting on there? I used to have an ARF and I fitted an ARF Bracelet (glidelock) originally for the 116610LN on to the 5 digit ARF. If the case is the same as the old ARF it should work right?

It should work fine. Only variable is where the lugs holes have been drilled. If they have been done properly then it should fit, but sometimes you are unlucky and end up with enevensel recess. What works for one watch may not work for the other YMMV.
